Do you think it can just record onto thin air? Did film cameras work without film? Do CD Players work without a CD? Does a TV work without some sort of connection or signal?
@jaykay18 it's nice to have for the right purpose not illegal stuff. My grandmother had a caregiver/ pursonal nurse she was bedridden and had the machine that filtered your blood bad kidneys all in the house we hired. Yes, care was expensive, but it got paid for. Anyhow, the lady was really sweet and did a good job with the care everyone loved her she had a wonderful family too. Well pain medications started to come up missing we would do a count on her medication and check the logs medication was unaccounted for turns out this lady had a drug problem she did her job well yes but was taking the drugs. My grandmother loved her it brok hear heart but we had to let her go hoping she would get the help she needed but we couldn't have her around the medication that ladybwas in tears too she had a great heart and was very kind it was unfortunate she had a problem.

I guess that a good thing to have if your spying on someone or don't want the camera noticed by a caregiver nanny of some sort.
That's the intent. If you don't pan around when people are there, they probably would think it's a smoke detector.
