Hiking to Sero Arikok - Arikok National Park - Aruba

Sero Arikok, located in Arikok National Park, is the second highest hill in Aruba. At a height of 185 meters, its summit offers a magnificent view of the park as well as the island of Aruba.
The 4 km round trip hike begins near the Visitor Center. It begins in a wooded area, then continues on a road accessible by 4x4 which climbs towards the top of the hill.
At the top was a VOR structure which is actually a radio positioning system used in aerial navigation.
We stayed there for a while to take photos and headed back down to the bottom of the hill.
For the return trip, we continued our hike on the main park road instead of going in reverse on the trail.
Please take into consideration that the heat is really oppressive in the park. Bring plenty of water. We did not see anyone hiking in this area.
Moreover, we had planned to do other hikes in this sector of the park, but the heat dissuaded us.
