I'm looking for some solar motion spots but.... I wish they would have stepped back 25 feet and put them on one at a time to show how each lit the area. Also there was no comparing the light output of the led or the color of the light. I guess I'll have to go to the big box compare then buy.
Hi, don't know if you still doing lights, will add some info for you. The batteries are cheap 2 amps in these lights, they do not last because there are no protection boards in them so battery runs flat and dies. Your 120 led ones are great, but I had to replace 5 same units with 5 batteries, however this time I put in BMS protection and no more dead batteries. Cheap and easy to do, actually even made a battery holder for some. Amazon has ones way brighter with BMS built in, remote colour, brightness, leds to show functions, usb to charge, replaceable 18650 and best of all, cheap. Nicely made video and informative. All the best.
For the size and the price I'd say his light is the best overall. But I think his light uses a bit of trickery to make you think it's the brightest by shining light directly on the surface it's mounted on it appears to be lighting up more and brighter. I think the far right side one looked like it lit up the most area outward and had the brightest lights. But I'd still go with the guy who made the video because it's cheaper and far far smaller than that crazy thing with an extension for the solar panel and needing multiple mounting spots for the panel and the light.
The only two things I dont care for these style of solar lights (the small one piece unit) is the limited motion sensor detection range, especially from the sides. Id like to be able to mount them to a wall on the side of the house and have them turn on as I approach. But most of these style wont turn on till you walk almost directly in front of it.
Are there any ways to connect these solar flood lights to your Wi-Fi or smartphone or some kind of alarm so you can know when they get triggered when you're inside the house?
Yes there may be a way. What you need to do is get your light, put it face down on the floor, and then get down on your knees beside it, clasp your hands together and pray for Wi-Fi integration... 🤦🏼♂
if your alarm zone output is 12v and your solar light is 12v then you should be able to install it to your alarm directly. Otherwise can go ewelink route. 5v ewelink wired to 5v light sensor with 5 v relay and resistors if required

You have to elevate your solar panels at an angle of your local latitude, facing real south.

ESP32 might be your answer. If you can hook that up inside your lights and if they are the close range of the wifi, than that could achieve your need.
All I know to do is to get the wireless security alert system. But I have to be home 😔. Next thorny shrubs I guess
