This amazing production has nothing to do with Brecht and all to do with the brilliance of Ivo van Hove one of the few great directors of our time - and the actors, especially Mark Strong, are fantastic also because of van Hove's wonderful approach that is at the same time "realistic" and "stylised".
This production is honestly brilliant!! Saw it on NT Live in London. It is Epic!!!!

Good production. But some elements just don't work. Marco's scene with the chair and the ending are particular examples.
They didn't invent anything those ideas of no set and awareness that it's an actual play is known as distanciation, created by Brecht
