But it was just a Video about the bending and I would say that you gave every information a amateur needs to hard tube on his own
I watched it thoroughly and still managed to do all the wrong ways; overheating, not heating 10 or so MM to either side of the bend, and starting the bend to early or to late. This guy is spot on. I like the free hand as well, and agree the silicone tube is a must with soapy water to get it back out. It really helps. Thanks for a great and informative video.

i would have loved if he showed us how to do a 90 degree bend at the end of the tube, i find this quite common in my builds as i cannot always source 1 meter tubing so i need to more stingy with it, but often i ruin it regardless..:(
Not sure if I understand your problem correctly but you could bend a larger section of the tube in half and cut most of it on one side. That way you would get a tube with a 90 degree angle at the end.

Hey Ahmed! Unfortunately not, the silicon insert is made to withstand head from a heat-gun and hold it's shape inside the tube so it doesn't allow it to kink.

*lol, but his bend by hand has such a big radius compared to the bend with the mandrel. I'm not sure how he can use that freehand bend in a practical way.*
The example used in this video was not the tightest you can go with freehand, mandrels are still awesome but Nick does prefer freehand bending as it feels and looks more "natural".
spend $500 on the coolant system to find out you need to spend another $80 just to bend pipes? This should come with this kit. Things are so expensive with you guys.
Great video. I think though you should do a follow up showing the installation of the tubing & figuring out where you bends should go in a case.
For sure, we'll be doing a video overview on a bunch of different fittings and how tubing connects to them as well.

Hows your building coming along? I'm starting mine now. 16mm tubes gives it a more wow factor. Like having a Microsoft font set to bold to stand out.

Oh after smoothing out the edges I use deionized water to rinse out the excess PETG,
would love to see how you measure the exact distance of where you need to bend.

If your computer got hot enough would it cause the petg to warp and leak?
At that heat all of your components would die before the tubes started to melt
Why can't I get the silicon bending insert into the thermaltake hard tube? It's quite hard to get the silicon inside the hole. What should I use?

Pretty much bored with soft tubing, time to graduate to PETG.
