I generally like your theory, and it's similar to one of my own, but there is one issue: it is impossible to put someone in a coma purposefully without medical equipment and even if he did that the equipment would be found immediately and doctors would take her off the coma. You can put one in a situation where they are likely to get a coma, but under the circumstances nobody could have.

Or, Simon knew what was in the safe and wanted to expose it to the public. Because the professor said that he didn't want some of the things in the safe revealed to the public. whatever that information was could have been incriminating towards him in some shape or form. If said information was incriminating and Simon wanted the professor to get fired (for whatever reason he might have whether it's jealousy or the desire to have the professor's job) so he planned to expose it to the public. I do believe it is a possibility that whoever did it burned down the building to cover their tracks, but it should also be taken into consideration WHY they would burn down the building to cover up tracks from breaking open a safe. Because, if one were to break into a safe, they would have to be knowledgable enough to understand the risks of doing that and how to do it without getting caught. From that, one can assume that they would take proper precautions to ensure that their identity isn't revealed in the process of the theft. Not only did the perpetrator engage the police and anger the professor by burning down the admin building, but they risked a life in the process and I feel like someone trying to steal files while the owner is away wouldn't want any conflict with people if they can avoid it and might not have gone out of their way to injure someone when they could just avoid it. Isn't that why they're stealing it while the professor is gone anyways? I dunno, just thinking out loud here hehe.
Kinda disappointed Dan Rolland wasn't in this episode, cause I find him really intriguing with his mannerisms and everything, like yes he's an introvert, but he's definitely hiding something, and i'm curious to see what happens.
This is such a big step up from season 1. There's a reason why everyone's filming, the premise is stronger, the characters have different presentation styles, everything is more interactive, the lighting and shot composition are more varied, and just...ahhhh! I'm just not sure how to feel about those sound affects, and I hope they don't pop up too much later on.

I think Dan knows who the person who started the fire is, and he knew the plans that the person had. Okay so I think Simon is jealous of Cat’s feather but also warning her in a sense. Like “enjoy it while it lasts”. So maybe Simon got a feather once so he got the Professor’s version of a golden star. He felt proud. But then Margot might have gotten the next one, one upping Simon in a sense. So he was jealous. Maybe they were in the running for a teachers assistant role or just to be Moynihan’s favorite. But Simon might’ve started the fire to hurt Margot and to potentially cover his tracks unless he was wearing gloves. Then just to hurt Margot. And maybe he stole the files because the other confidential stuff could be used to impress Moynihan. Or sell the cuff information
Wow, this season is even better than the first! The storyline is more original & everything feels more fleshed-out. You can tell the writers & everyone behind-the-scenes learned a lot from season 01. Jessie's presence is sorely missed, but hopefully her character has a larger presence as the season progresses. I just wish I had known about the series when it was first released back in 2017-18.😖
OKAY THEORY: (Like if you agree so I’m not alone) I just thought about this when this episode played, but Allie is very stalkerish and knows all about what took place that night, so maybe she set all of them up and actually did it. Okay, based on this I changed up my suspect list a little bit. Because the professor said something important related to his new research discoveries were stolen, that gives an actual motive for the fire taking place, so you'd need someone who'd want to steal it for whatever reason: 1. Harper (Good at hacking, probably works for the government or some shiz) 2. Dan 3. Naia (I don't believe that bullshit alibi for a second) 4. Wilson 5. The Twins 6. Alvaro 7. Cat 8. Erika I also believe that Harper suspects Dan and that's the dorm she was trying to break into. Mostly because of the duct tape over the peep hole. Dan seems like a private guy, and maybe overly suspicious of people too, so it wouldn't surprise me if that was his dorm. I don't believe Naia because she's against acts of violence, yet she vandalizes bathrooms? I know it seems like she had good intentions but that still seems a little contradictory and that secondary alibi seemed too prepared. Also, Simon sort of gives me the creeps.... Irrelevant but necessary...

This show is very spoopy and addictive... I just have a few things that I'm thinking might be leading the viewers on the wrong track. Such as Harper. It seems that the writers are putting her in a bad light, which means that they might be trying to deflect the spotlight from another character. That's a really good point, I just brushed off Naia after she said that haha. I think that it also could possibly be Cat though since she doesn't even have a solid alibi and the writers put her in a position of being least suspected since she is the main character.

Okay so I think Simon is jealous of Cat’s feather but also warning her in a sense. Like “enjoy it while it lasts”. So maybe Simon got a feather once so he got the Professor’s version of a golden star. He felt proud. But then Margot might have gotten the next one, one upping Simon in a sense. So he was jealous. Maybe they were in the running for a teachers assistant role or just to be Moynihan’s favorite. But Simon might’ve started the fire to hurt Margot and to potentially cover his tracks unless he was wearing gloves. Then just to hurt Margot. And maybe he stole the files because the other confidential stuff could be used to impress Moynihan. Or sell the cuff information

Wow, this season is even better than the first! The storyline is more original & everything feels more fleshed-out. You can tell the writers & everyone behind-the-scenes learned a lot from season 01. Jessie's presence is sorely missed, but hopefully her character has a larger presence as the season progresses. I just wish I had known about the series when it was first released back in 2017-18.😖

OKAY THEORY: (Like if you agree so I’m not alone) I just thought about this when this episode played, but Allie is very stalkerish and knows all about what took place that night, so maybe she set all of them up and actually did it. She’s just very good at “ getting information “ about people and analyzing them. Idk I might be alone. Hopefully someone else thinks that too. It could be a plot twist you know?

Okay, based on this I changed up my suspect list a little bit. Because the professor said something important related to his new research discoveries were stolen, that gives an actual motive for the fire taking place, so you'd need someone who'd want to steal it for whatever reason:
1. Harper (Good at hacking, probably works for the government or some shiz)
2. Dan
3. Naia (I don't believe that bullshit alibi for a second)
4. Wilson
5. The Twins
6. Alvaro
7. Cat
8. Erika
I also believe that Harper suspects Dan and that's the dorm she was trying to break into. Mostly because of the duct tape over the peep hole. Dan seems like a private guy, and maybe overly suspicious of people too, so it wouldn't surprise me if that was his dorm.
I don't believe Naia because she's against acts of violence, yet she vandalizes bathrooms? I know it seems like she had good intentions but that still seems a little contradictory and that secondary alibi seemed too prepared.
Also, Simon sort of gives me the creeps.... Irrelevant but necessary...

I think the feather represents the Feather of Truth. It's from Egyptian mythology, and it's basically what it sounds like. If the holder of the Feather of Truth lies, the person combusts. I think she was proven to not be a suspect of the fire... For now.

This show is very spoopy and addictive... I just have a few things that I'm thinking might be leading the viewers on the wrong track. Such as Harper. It seems that the writers are putting her in a bad light, which means that they might be trying to deflect the spotlight from another character. I personally believe that it's someone that isn't in the group or Cat, whether it's Moniyhan himself or Simon. SOOO stoked about this series!!

Hm, the safe was broken into... harper was breaking I to that dorm. Simon reacted weird to the feather, maybe it’s code for something?
Simon recognises the feather and says enjoy it while it lasts. I feel like he's been given one in the past, perhaps it's to signify the professor's fav student. Maybe he uses favouritism as a tactic to find out and investigate.

Maybe the feather means the professor thinks Cat wasn't the arsonitst? Feathers are associated with birds. Birds fly away. That's associated with freedom/innocence. I could be totally wrong... 😂 Just an idea!
I also just noticed that the professor has always worn a feather. In this episode and the last one, he has one on his jacket.
