Dao is a multi used tool for Nagas, early days it was also used to chop enemy's head during Headhunting era, now we used for different purpose like, chopping meat, wood, bamboo works, farming and so on.
For information
If you want to make perfect and strong Dao handle, you have to cut 3-4 years old bamboo at right season and dry it on top of the fire place for at least a month.
