Pretty sure that was it yes
She was headed in a nasty direction and didn’t seem to be doing well emotionally so I think it was for her well-being
To preserve what could still be salvaged so it wouldn’t go further/get worse. She was in a bad spot and it showed. Andy mentioned at the reunion she should have taken this break last season, and it was overdue. She’s an asset to the network and as such, preservation mode kicked in.

Like telling him, his body was covered with factory slime and his wife had beat me up once that day. How delightful the olden days were.
