I never knew about the plastic bottles spot, nice tip thanks. I know early game it is worth looting everything especially getting Holiday clothing to sell to trader. And building up supplies in a hidden chest somewhere.

I'm not saying its bad content, but he easily could have made those first 8 minutes into its own video, and then could have ACTUALLY gotten straight to the point in this one...
Yeah, I do this from time to time, especially after major patches and after new POIs have been added - to increase looting efficiency and to know where to find stuff I need, that's why I suggested it to you. For the world spawns (on table, shelves, floor) you need to go at least 30m away and come back to check what's spawned on several attempt.
Explanation:
30m is the distance where item virtualization happens in SCUM, which means, to keep server resource usage low, items actually despawn if any player is more than 30m away from the spawn point and respawn if he's less than 30m away (must be a slight difference between spawn/despawn distances to prevent "blinking" when player is exactly at that distance).

Would have been better to do weapon training at the shooting range... btw, Staklo in 53:55 means Glass. One pro tip for looting is to be at your POI just before server rest, kills 2 birds with one stone.
Location does matter. I always find ghillies in BO bunker, some sort of ak weapon at naval, BMG in C2. Z bunkers always feels full of armor pieces and clothing but less weapons or attachs. I'm more then certain about this because on many servers I just farm those locations for that specific item. On a pve server I even made my own ''black market'' ghillie suit business.

Fascinating video. I’ve played this enough that i have an intuitive sense for what loot crates have what but this showed me a bit how the rng works with various items. My question however does location matter? For example does a interior camo tarp crate at bunker c0 generate the same probability items as the same crate at bunker d4.? Although, if I’m on foot, I loot everything at a POI since my sessions are focused on loot routes. Doesn’t do me much good to shave off 30 mins of my looting if I’m 15 mins away from the next spot anyway. But if I’m in a vehicle I could see maximizing the trip. I did know about the plastic and I believe the staklo means glass.
That is what we are going to find out in this series so very good question.
I think they are slightly different in different locations even if you are opening the same containers. I play on high loot server this becomes very evident, also it seem to have a 'weapon series' spawn pattern, if you see an AK 47 mag the chance is that there's an AK around somewhere. I have found as much as triple M82 in one bunker before, factory B1 seem to spawn a lot more AK family of weapons, basically soviet stuff, southern bunkers more 5.56x45 type weapons.
This is most evident in WW2 bunkers, you will ALWAYS find WW2 items like M1 and their ammunition, despite searching same long green containers as the bunkers. So I do think there's loot bias depending on locations.

Firing the grenade launcher at a mech in the A0 bunker from the hillside made it retaliate against me outside the fence up on the hill and almost kill me haha.
Yes if it has line of sight over the fence it will shoot you or through the holes in the gate and at a few bunkers it shoots through the gates.

Well, all ammo got boost so maybe.. now even 9mm headshot one-taps.. :)
That will be quite a major change but overall it is very good. Guns feel potent again.

Bring an AK with a scope and range your targets for the launcher
I have a question. The server I play on uses a multiplier of 12x for loot. Does this method you showed work only in certain places on the whole map? Or in specific spawn locations? Maybe there is something that needs to be configured separately at the server level for this method to work. And the multiplier alone is not enough. Aaand I've always known about the plastic :D
The server you play on is basically on Max loot so you will almost always find something I just set the time for loot to respawn to 0 for the test on my test server

how do you get it so you loot the crate and loot shows up again? i know he said loot multiplier but how do i change that or what specific setting is it
I changed to loot respawn timer to 0 in server settings.
Do you or can you figure out where the grenade launcher spawns? I’ve been hunts for it but seem to come up short.
Its a very powerful weapon so it should be quite rare but we will see if we can find a spot where the spawn point percentage is higher.

Can I get some help. How do you keep your vehicle. My vehicle was loaded with stuff. I stopped game and then it was gone. Anyone help me with that.
Find some padlocks, craft the highest tier lock you can with your building skills and hide your car somwhere deep in the forest in some bushes when you leave the game.
