Santa Cruz Trek, Huaraz, 4 d 52 km, max elev. 4750 m, the youngest hiker 6 year old Victor Bukasov

We hiked Santa Cruz Trek , 52 km in 4 days, one of the most renown trails in Peru, which come up to Union Pass 4750 m above see level, It is the most popular multi-day trek in Huascarán National Park, UNESCO world Heritage site near Huaraz and likely the most popular one in Huaraz . Victor Bukasov at age 6 years, most likely has become the youngest ever hiker of this trail , which has camping as high as 4240 m above see level and which gets to 4750 m Union Pass from a campsite at 4850 m in one day. Several 6000+ m summits of Cordillera Blanca decorate a skyline of this hike , including the famous Alpamayo or Paramount Mountain and Santa Cruz trail is really a gorgeous visual feast for everyone who likes mountains. It was surprisingly low number of trekkers that we met on the trail ( on sale in every Huaraz tour agency ) between 8 and 20 every day and an absolute majority of those hikers come there from a "golden billion" countries ( EU, USA, South Korea). We had 2 hikers from Brazil in our group , 2 ladies from Germany and 2 from Netherlands , one man from UK and us ( 2 Ukraine and 1 USA citizen) and only one hiker from Brazil (~ 55+ years old had one child , except me of course) . I have not seen any local trekkers ( excluding guides of course) on the trail
