- Today, we commemorate D-Day, June 6th.
Thanks to Franklin County Fleet Management's Rodney Rickman, who made a promise to his neighbor, an M-1 Garand rifle now has a place to be treasured and viewed by others. With the help of Sheriff Dallas Baldwin and several dedicated deputies, that promise was kept. The rifle will be shared with the National Veterans Memorial and Museum.
