    I guess anybody who visits here to watch the video have already updated bios, which f***ed windows. Turns out he solution is to muck around in the bios before update? Thanks...

      lol yep. I was linked this video as a "fix" from the MSI forums. This does nothing to fix it, only prevent it from happening in the first place....

    What to do after I have already updated the BIOS and Windows has been deactivated? How to restore the license?

      If you run out of restore chance, you need to contact Microsoft

      @@tiredhamster8437 There's a year long help thread on Microsoft's website about this. Contacting Microsoft does absolutely _nothing_ to help and you'll be left with an open ticket for weeks. I only discovered this problem today when I updated my Z690 Tomahawk and now I'm screwed that MS thinks my full legal and stupidly overpriced copy of Windows isn't valid.
