British music in the 90's was just amazing. We had a cocky swagger, and no wonder. Nobody else could touch us. Massive Attack, Oasis, Portishead, Reef. The list of great bands was endless. This is a classic of that era. Hasnt aged one bit.

Reef could do classic rock as good as any band I have ever heard and Jimmy Page would be proud of the riff in I Would Have Left You. Buy their albums. Tell people who good Reef are. Get this band recording and touring again!

I wish I was my age in the late 90s/early 2000s, the music and almost everything about that point looked so fun, no dressing to try and look rich, no cringey rap music, I don't even know what the top 50 are on the charts, just this vibe.

A great number of songs are just great by themselves. They have an inherent quality. This one? I can't see this one being all that good sung by anyone else. That voice, man. Just makes me grin.
@@tonymorph3672 ok so check this out: mtv use to play about 8 seconds of the video maybe 3-5 times a day as a bumper between commercials and mtv programming. It was almost like an advertisement. I don’t think I remember ever actually seeing the actual full video on tv back then. They only ran that 8 second bumper for a week or 2. And then….. I never heard the song again until the internet came about and I was able to search it.

I think I met this band in a parking lot in Scarborough, Ontario in like maybe 1996 or 1997. They gave me a cd and tickets to a concert. Still to this day this is one of my favourite songs.
