How to change the camera format/standard

When you have one or two cameras have the P or N with red cross on the screen, but with no picture, you can go to the xvi control setting, change the camera's format/standard, exit and save the setting. Go to the main menu- system-general - select the correct video standard, it will show all the cameras on the screen.
NOTE, only the camera with picture can access the XVI control setting and change the format.
1) If the camera shows a N with red cross on the screen,
please go to main menu- system-general , change the video standard to NTSC, OK.
go to the xvi control, change the camera format to PAL.
go to main menu- system-general , change the video standard back to PAL, you will see all the cameras.
2) If the camera shows a P with red cross on the screen,
please go to main menu- system-general , change the video standard to PAL, OK.
go to the xvi control, change the camera format to NTSC.
go to main menu- system-general , change the video standard back to NTSC, you will see all the cameras.
