i was watching a rangers pod cast last Knight and the fan talking didn't like Goldson at all and was begging Blues to buy him. He said he was on 37G a week and would free up the wage bill if they get rid of him. Personally i think the Scottish prem sucks and i don't know whats worse league 1 or Scottish prem. maybe he will do better in league 1.

I think signing Mike Eerdhuijzen from Sparta Rotterdam would be a big statement but not so much Goldson. Mike Eerdhuijzen is young and up and coming and playing in the top Dutch league however it reads that Rotterdam have already bought in his replacement so why did it collapse? well he came to Birmingham to look around the clubs facilities on Monday so maybe he just didn't fancy at it as clearly Sparta are willing sellers. Goldson however will be 32 this season and isn't wanted by Rangers also. I'd take him as an experienced backup like a Kevin Long 2.0 but signing a 32 year old CB for the first team doesn't sound ideal if we are trying to put together a bunch of players who can play with each other for the next three years. ie,...he wants more money,as simple as that...all the agents of footballers around the world,know that the owners of Birmingham City,have a pile of money & any players agent knows the price of their player to any team that wants them,especially a big club,in a league they really are far too big for,and are desperateto get out of,at their first attempt,..i do not believe this deal is dead,..now its a waiting game,if another team comes in for him that could change the minds of the owners pretty quickly,..they have to back the manager they backed,...maybe only another 2/3 thousand a week is the difference between the club & player,..especially a player over 30,..looking for a final little next egg in his latter playing years....🤔
Well have a better squad than last season i truely believe that i think we will win the league comfortably already got the best striker and once we out buy every other league 1 team i mean 25k was all diffrence was to get alfie may we have money and the rooney saga was a blessing in disguise.we needed this.new manager new.sqaud come on you blue boys

To a league 1 side , so far we have only signed league 1 players or players who were not able to get regular games if a player in championships is wanted by other championship club henlys going to come to blues we ARE after all a league 1 side. This is result of our owners messing things up last season sorry but the facts have to faced many clubs like Charton Bolton petersbourgh are experienced league 1 clubs . the birds have really come home to roost wa ard NOT going to walk league 1 especially if we have to start with this bunch. Of players we had last season YES IVE GOT MY SEASON TICKET

Surely saunderson will stay otherwise if he goes we only have belik and he's likely to play midfield we should be adding to the defence not replacing I for 1 . we have 3 defenders so far 2 fullbacks and 1 centre half they should never have mentioned how much they had to spend
Buchanan can play CB but prefer him at LB. Bielik is a must in CB he is the best we have at that position.
He's never going to come to Blues 😉
It's all about money its all about the Dutch league paying more money don't rate goldson at all
