You’re probably not going to believe this but I used to live here a while back! It was so nostalgic looking at the apartment, not much has changed! Thanks for sharing and I hope you’re enjoying Iwakuni as much as I did :)

This tour was incredibly interesting. I was a little shocked at how different sine things were. Like the tub and how shallow the sink was. But I was glued to this entire video so great job on your tour!!

That's a nice apartment you got. By the way, the flower you have at your entrance seems like Chrysanthemum or mums. ''Kiku'' in Japanese

I just found your channel the other day and have been binging all your videos since 😂 I’m so thankful for your channel, I’m about to graduate highschool and I’ve been heavily interested in becoming an ALT in Japan after becoming a teacher in America for a few years. As a former JET myself (Yurihama Cho, in Tottori Ken) 2004-2005 - you had me cracking up so much! I too inherited a lot of stuff from my predecessor. You really had a traditional Japanese apato! I piled those futons 2-3 high ba ha ha ha. Loved the perfume collection too. Makes me remember when I would wear some to my Jr. High. Some of the students actually asked me why I wore it. And yes, tatami floors are super hard to keep clean. Stay safe there during this pandemic, sister! Thanks for the great video! Ganbatte kudasai!

You’re saying what you dislike about the apartment @ the end... but can I just say I hate the fact that the toilet is kept separate from the shower 😭 mi bex and annuh me

lol i actually don't mind that lol. I grew up in a big family where someone always wanted to use the toilet as soon as you start taking a shower so that's super nice for me lol!

Tomi's World that really makes sense. But often times I use the toilet then head straight in the shower so yeah 😭 and sometimes I’m bathing and feel the need to release 💩 😢

So you pay equivalent to $450/mo for all that, in Japan? That’s a damn steal.

Yeah nowadays you can’t live on your own in the US. And if you do expect to pay a premium. It’s really hard in the US for new adults right now. $450/month is a dream
