hi lee! ive missed your reactions lol, what you said at 1:30 is interesting because as a queer woman in a relatively conservative country ive been in my fair share of queer spaces, bars, clubs etc and one of the bar owners told me that there were lots of people in power (mostly older men) that were secretly queer and could only live the lives they wanted in such spaces and they were treated differently than other customers because they paid an extra price for the promise of keeping things discreet. these men in power also travel across country for these bars and queer events, or so i was told which i found interesting. its very unrelated but that whole scene reminded me of the conversation i had with that bar owner. anyway, cant wait to see your full reaction and sending love 💙
i am loving this show so far! and yes, they have stated time and time again that this is a romcom so there will be a high level of comedy but it's so far its not the typical thailand overdramatic comedy so i am enjoying the more subtle humor as of ep 1. i love that there are 3 schemes going on with Kant in on all of them. he's trying to get close to the hitmen for the police, he's in on a scheme with Bison to get his brother off of their backs, and he is in a scheme with Style to get him to get Fadel to fall in love with him. i thought that Style would be in on the hitmen part but he's not. he just thinks Kant likes Bison and needs his big brother out of the way. it will be interesting to see if Style gets mad at Kant for not warning him that the guy he is asking him to hit on is a killer...... haha
i finally got to watching this and I've been meaning to tell you how much I enjoy your reactions and reviews to these shows! there's a lot of very emotional reactors which can be fun too but you have great input on the actual plot while still visibly enjoying the series. I'm mainly watching this for First and Khaotung too but all of the characters are surprisingly compelling to me, I think my favorites may be Bison and Fadel and their brother dynamic, even if we might see less of that than the romance!
At first i was like is Dunk's acting too much or what, and then after finished the eps i was like "nope, style just crazy and so extra for everything" and i loved it, also Fadel being done with Style and Bison who's madly in love is crazy, and we also knew Kant literally lied to everyone even with Style, i'm curious what will happen if they know everything later
I have high hopes for this show. It's a mix of all my fav things: Shakespeare adaptation, P'Jojo(sans OF), FirstKhao, be gay so crime, etc. Plus, I've really enjoyed most of Gmmtv current/recent airings: HSF, P10L, PP(OS), Pluto. I can't wait to see more, especially because I'm still not sure if it's inspired by Taming of the Shrew or Ten things I hate about you. There are too many conflicting reports, but knowing JoJo love of 90s media, I am leaning towards the latter. I love how intense all the main characters are. The show is officially listed as a drama, but I think I remember Jojo calling it a comedy at some point, so I wonder how much of each it's going to be. Also, I fear everything Style says is a euphemism 44:50. Cars and flirting are his main priorities. Lastly the show is getting a bit of flack for being too "mature", which is odd because this is fairly tame for a JoJo series but knowing how notoriously online JoJo and Joong are, I hope they see how much most people are enjoying the first episode.

Agree, Dunk acting is very bad, he has had 4 series to change my mind & still playing a vacant expression character that I don’t resonate with and unless it is a sex scene with Joong their is no natural chemistry between them
