Hey Shane, can you make a video on why you moved to Japan and how is life there compared to Canada. If possible, you could address some issues like cost of living, culture differences, retirement opportunity and others.
Hello and thank you for your comment and request. I can certainly put something up on this topic. I’ll start putting my thoughts into it and get a short video up as soon as possible. Thanks again and talk soon.
Hi BroadBirch. I just want to update you. I have put a lot of thought and consideration into what to say for this request and I’m almost ready to cut the video and upload it. I hope you will still watch it when it’s ready and thanks again.
@@CampForLess yes, the same one. Just bought it a couple of weeks ago and just managed to put it together last night 😂 - will make sure to season them before I use it. Thanks.
Where in Japan are you? I just picked up a Smoke Hollow from the Costco in Iruma. I have a cover and I also picked up some heat gaskets that I put around the lid...If you need a cover and some flat high heat paint, let me know.
Hi. Thanks. I’m in Kanagawa. We go to Zama Costco. They don’t have a cover at that location. Did you find mat finish high heat paint at Autobaks? Is that how it’s spelled. Haha. Let me know. I can zip over to grab a can. I’m doing a pork joint today on it. It’s going really nice. I can’t wait to finish it and see the deep color on the outside of the finished product. You’re in Saitama hey. That’s awesome. Not to far but we are way out in Hadano. Close to Odawara.
I’ll check studio later at home. I can’t see a link. Thank you so much for your comment and I’ll definitely check to see if I can get it once I see the link. Talk soon.
Oh nice. I found the link and checked it. It’s perfect. I’m going to contact them and see about if they will ship it. It’s very reasonable and looks like it’s custom built. Thank you for that and I’ll update you if I can get it sent here or source masterbuilt in Japan.
That’s a really good thing to do. I also brushed oil all over the interior of the Smoke Hollow. I think I’m going to oil it after ever use as an addition to my clean up. Thank you for that. It’s really important for people to know they have to do these little things to care for it properly. Talk soon.
I cant see any link as I'm also in search for one? although it will be stored in my garage id still like a protection cover to stop it getting dusty during winter storage
Hey Shane!! We need one of these in our lives!!!II'm glad you where able to restore yours so good!!! Awesome tips and tricks too👍

Hey!! Great video, did you ever season your grills before you used it?
Hi and thank you for watching and your support. Yes. I seasoned the grill with canola oil. Very important. Do you have the same bbq?

@@CampForLess I’m actually on Yokota AB. Do you have Instagram?
I’m actually going to bed. Talk later. Thanks again. I’m looking forward to connecting.
Not sure if you can get it shipped there but I bought this one for mine

Another thing I done when I seasoned it I took some cooking spray and sprayed the entire grill inside and out that will help with rust
