Great job from the candidate! Well done!
As for the scores - half marks aren't awarded for the individual criteria. 8.0 seems about right, though, overall.
The post-test chat is also a really nice touch 😊

Wait why do the videos made and basically located or filmed in Korea? Because I've just crossed into the channel for the first time i mostly have seen videos from Korea ? Except maybe one of them ?
And if I could ask about the topic of the test, is it based on the students' interests ? I'm especially talking about the part 2 and 3 ?

All of the videos were filmed in Seoul, South Korea. There are a lot of international students and foreign workers in Seoul, so it is a good place to find candidates for the IELTS test.

A lot of young people come to Korea to attend universities, either as an exchange student or in a full-time degree course.

@IELTSInsider I know there's a tertiary education system, like in all developed countries. That's not something relevant per se. What I'm asking is what does South Korea have that makes it a favourite country to move to. There are many foreigners living there whether for work or studies purposes. Why not Japan, Taiwan or Sweden or South Africa, to name a few? I've observed a consistent number of people moving to South Korea and I'd really like to know why is that. Is there perhaps any political, fiscal or economic advantages or benefits that other eastern countries don't have or is it because it's a country that has become fashionable in recent years? Something fishy's going on🤔

@@ismaelrosa8091 There are no major advantages I am aware of. I think people are attracted to the culture and the educational opportunities. Higher education is relatively cheap compared to the US and UK, but this is also true of countries like South Africa and Taiwan. There is no doubt that the growth of K-Culture is the major driver, especially with the amount of Korean movies, TV Shows, and and K-Pop bands that have gained worldwide popularity over the past decade or so.

no i'll say the right score for him would be a band 7 maybe 7.5 in a good day, more or less than that would be unfair for him
