Up until recentlyI only copped Wallabees and Weavers, then I copped the Patta x Clarks Desert Treks. Today I copped the Tor Run - thanks in part to this review! Got the BlackCombis. Love your channel bro, not sure why you don't have alot more subs!!!
You know, if there's one thing I've learnt it's never ignore a pooh-pooh. I knew a Major, who got pooh-poohed, made the mistake of ignoring the pooh-pooh. He pooh-poohed it! Fatal error! 'Cos it turned out all along that the soldier who pooh-poohed him had been pooh-poohing a lot of other officers who pooh-poohed their pooh-poohs. In the end, we had to disband the regiment. Morale totally destroyed... by pooh-pooh!

I purchased the black pair a while ago. I'm torn between the ones featured here and the pair with the navy suede. I also like the women's colorway with purple and teal.
Definitely a dope design though. I'm excited to see what other colorways they have planned.
can you say something about the size? are they true to size?
I have the blue torrun and it is the most comfortable shoes I ever had

When you say you're paying for premium materials and construction, that's debatable really. Not that they aren't well made, because I'm sure they are, but is that the reason for the high price tag?
High price tags have more to do with market positioning, brand strength and how much shareholder profit is required.
Clarks were once a more affordable footwear of quality, now they have become far less affordable and more a fashion accessory than innovative footwear. In my opinion they've gone backwards in some respects.
I used to wear Clarks from 1975 to 2000, but not since then. Although, for me the main issue has been narrow toebox and lack of zero-drop options in their range. The older ones I used to have (Polyveldt, Wallabees, Desert Trek) were also comfortable straight out of the the box, which I haven't found with the newer shoes I've tried on since then.
Regarding these "trainers", let's be honest, nobody will ever do sports training in these, posing maybe. They don't even look like being good for your feet when walking a lot of daily miles/km. The thick soles may provide cushioning, but too much cushioning often ends up weakening the feet and eventually causing foot pain and injuries.
@Electric_ Traveller not at all, what's there to be bitter about? I actually like Clarks shoes in general. You could even say that I'm a fan. But being fan doesn't mean I always like what I see, so I'm just expressing my opinion really.
Thanks for the video. Seems to be the only one online looking to review these. What's sizing like? I'm uk8.5 in air max 1 as an example. Should I stick to that or go up or down depending on your experience?
They fit true to size for me - not as close fitting as air max - you’ll find you have a bit more room around the top of your foot and bridge

Really wanted to get these- but any idea if these are good for walking for those with flat feet?
My feet are super flat and they’re pretty comfortable. There’s no real built up arch or arch support so should be fine if you’re intending to keep your feet flat!

Yeah they’re wearing well man - I’m keeping into of the suede cleaning, sole is fine though. I don’t usually buy trainers again since there’s always plenty of new silos to try but I can stand behind how mine have lasted

Hey Man, really happy with the Trek Taiyo - super comfortable and easy to wear. Yeah, i'd align your size with Wallabee shoe, plenty of room in them. I've not tried Desert Treks, so can't help there but i've got both these silos in the same size, so pretty consistent, just the Tor is slightly wider in the foot.

I don't think that's a problem though - every sole gets dirty but you notice it more with the gum style
