Hello good afternoon. I would like to add a tiny fan so that the air flow goes to the p420 pci controller. I know there is a fan baffle and air channel kit. What type of connection would it take to connect this kit? I had also thought to incorporate a 70 cm fan instead of the kit, but also my doubt if any cable is needed, or I could connect the fan directly to the board. Thank you very much, hello!
I want to add another secondary drive cage to hold another x4 3.5" drives so the total will be 8 drives. But, there are only 4 sata connectors and powers included by default. How can i add more? what is the cable name or part number that i need to achieve that?
@@ziyaadumar6191 From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Server Availability > Automatic Power-On and press Enter. Select OFF and press Enter.
When I plug the power cord it shows some red writtings on the screen system has been defaulted I should wait for some few minutes after that it turns on without pressing the power button
Bro am using this system too is giving me hpe restful api error 338 cant communicate with ilow the intelligent provisioning settings too is missing from the bios with the smart array too please help me
Bro am using this same system ml110 gen 9 please when I plug in a power cord the system automatically turns on without pressing the power button please any ideas of that problem
To elaborate on the previous answer, this unit can be expanded up to 8 physical SATA LFF HDD/SSDs OR 16 SATA SFF HDD/SSDs depending on the drive cage(s) your unit is configured with. The built in B140i Smart Array Controller does not support SAS drives and only up to 10 SATA drives in total. The size of the drives supported would depend on the RAID card you were using to control the drives. The unit also has a Micro-SD slot and two USB ports (1 x 2.0 and 1 x 3.0) on the motherboard. There is an M.2 ennoblement card that can purchased to add up to two M.2 drives to the system.
Thanks for the video, Im buying a similar ML110 G10, the cage and cables looks is optional for the HDDs?
The whole video is awesome. Thanks for the upload!
this is first setup, so i find 4x 3.5" internal bay and SATA/SAT cables included in the base server configuration, right?
this is a great build a system after my heart but did you ever try to buy hard drive cages from Ebay there is no sleds included
Es posible dejar este equipo como uno de escritorio normal? Y no server independiente de sus especificaciones?
Does this server make a lot of noise?

I'm having troubles with this server, i installed ubuntu server 16.04.2 but i keep getting no bootable media found after reboot...
I think you should change the boot from UEFI mode to legacy BIOS mode
how many hard drives can this thing take and what size limit?
