Still Jaitapur epr nuclear plant by France is the most expensive and stupid reactor model that even Europe can't afford without even the cost overrun every new nuclear plant suffers from.
India should collaborate with Japan for htgr technology which have much higher efficiency and also provides hydrogen . That's the technology for future.
We are already building 10 nuclear reactors in fleet mode with our own tech, a few other reactors with russian tech. We may not need anybody's help in that respect.

You know , we gotta invest in Small Modular Reactors and other future advanced nuclear tech projects like collaborating with California university climate lab etc. and not build new plants with old , outdated tech . And the world has gotta grow out of the “nuclear means disaster for the planet” and remember that Chernobyl happened 3&1/2 decades ago. Nuclear is the ultimate form of clean energy if we develop tech for recycling of nuclear waste coz it’s got potential and thorium reactor is a promising solution too. Like if you agree 👍
Small modular reactors are not efficient. That's a problem. A small reactor in ship or submarine is fine, there's a space constraint. A power plant doesn't have space constraints.
@@dexterroy Given India's long coastline, paucity of lands, and stiff (NIMBY) opposition from civilians, it is better to build it out in sea, maybe by clustering small modules. Research should be focussed on that instead of building massive sites on land which are a very difficult sell.
