They are trying desperately to shoehorn her into this phase pushing an SJW agenda. 20 something movies have been made to build up to the Infinity War End Game. Then right before the final movie they come out with Marvel, so if you wanted to be prepared for End Game you need to watch Captain Marvel. They played perfect, but the movie was so meh it had little impact.
After RDJ and Chris Evans finally hang up their boots, Chris Hemsworth should be the next face of Avengers, not Brie Larson. He earned it.

Hemsworth was clearly trying to joke around and she got personally offended. I am beginning to believe those rumours that many of the cast not liking her are true. Just saw Jeremy Renner's press interview on NDTV with her. His body language spoke volumes. He keeps himself as far from her as possible and the energy is off. It's so different from the energy he had with Paul Rudd. It looks like it's the last place on earth he'd rather be. He said something I thought was a subtle dig at Larson. They were asked about personal responsibility that comes with the position, Tenner said he's accountable for his own life and he doesn't use it as a platform. Danai Gurira has also made pointed statements about her character's role is a fierce, independent, proud woman who leads an army withoyu losing or diminishing her femininity. I've heard other subtle comments from actors on this press junket.Thecomments seem like digs or contrary opinions to the crap Larson is spewing. Brie Larson is just so unlikable and she's a fool to go after someone as beloved as Hemsworth. It's very telling too that he follows everyone connected to these movies on Instagram and Twitter but not Larson. He follows Gal Gadot though!

I agree this trio is awkward. But I dont think its hate awkward. I think its more new kid on the block awkward. Its like being the new kid in school and sitting at the lunch table with the cool kids. [EDIT] you can also see them begin to ease into the new atmosphere as the interview progresses. At first the humor is stiff and awkward (likely a result of being tired from the press tour) but they do get more comfortable with each other. Especially after Brie compliments them complete with a smile.
