I LOVE this work out. legs are burning, hearts racing, yet i feel more open after it. its like a more intense yoga which is exactly what ive been looking for. thank you!!

this is great for constipation. not even kidding. I have diverticulitis and things get stuck all the time. stretching routines get me going again.

I'm watching this closely, but I'm gonna be a total kick in the shins contrarian, pain in the ass. Start from minute zero, I can't like physically identify a human hamstring muscle/complex thingy...where is that? (I have smaller hamstrings myself, even after severe leg-days, so not trying to flex here)
Back of the upper leg. Stand tall, bring the heel toward the butt. The hamstring (Or biceps femoris) will shorten and ball up. Thats the hamstring.

Very nice, but what's with the terminology? Animal flow, beast march, bear squat, activate the beast, etc? Can't we use terminology that's more serene sounding or something lol? It just doesn't seem to match the vibe...
Got any suggestions? If you had to rename it based on the vibe, what would you call this practice?
@@smoovmoves Hmmm, good question lol. I'm only half serious, the beast terminology isn't so bad and prob really works for some. But maybe like Mindful Body Flow? Qigong, Yoga, or Tantra flow? Something in that realm. Balance, strength and spirit flow? Something better but along those lines...

This is just Pilates marked for men.
"Animal Flow" or "Primal Flow" is basically a set of compound floor movements and patterns that can be very fluid. It requires mobility and strength in a lot of different ways from normal weightlifting or other bodyweight exercises. It shares some similarities with pilates but it's certainly no direct copy. I could do a ton of pilates exercises easily but the better "animal flow" folks are doing stuff I certainly can't.
