Ok, so I've watched like a million vids of rose quartz in the past month, lol. I'm almost convinced that you need to bleach your hair to like a pale yellow in order to see a cute rose gold result. There's almost too much orange/gold pigment and a lot of people just end up getting an awkward orange with hints of pink. I saw a lady mix rose quartz with just regular rose and her result was pretty. Basically, I bought the same stuff but haven't been brave enough to actually apply anything, lol
See so I agree. Also, the Sally beauty i bought it from, the swatch for that color was MISSING so I could see that it was so yellow with the pink? She just suggested that because the rose gold got bad reviews so it was blind trust for me. Additionally, looking back I think I also might not have rinsed all the bleach out so mayyyybe thats why the color went wrong? But either way rose quartz did me DIRTY. Mixing it with another color sounds like a good idea. Either way godspeed to you, I wish you luck. Update me if you get a better result if you use it please!
Everytime I dye my hair it takes me 2 days to do it after I buy it. Lol... Because I have to muster up the courage to do my hair because bleach scares me .. 😂😂 I love my hair but bleach scares me 😬😬☺️ Also I learned to always buy extra ... 😉😉. #Manic Panic bleach kit chemically burned my scalp.. Hopefully it worked for you 😙😙
This was definitely a learning experience for me and while I'm not scared of bleach, I also haven't touched bleach for nearly a year now 😬 and even tho it's almost been a year I still have severe breakage so yeah 🙃 I am sorry to hear that you got a chemical burn that sounds horrible???
i laughed. yes your hair was way too dark for pink to register i knew right away it wouldn’t, you have to be close to platinum for light pink to show up.
I think in retrospect I've learned this now lol lesson learned! I've done other colors since then on a much lighter pallet now that I know better. Still, im never touching this color again 😂
