The porch is nearly done!

A look at the new top a local contractor built from our design. A little odd looking at one end, where we designed it to integrate into the upcoming renovation. Still, after procrastinating 10 years we finally have shelter over the stone porch.

Dealing with the contractor has been a grueling experience, but we’re nearly done. It cost much more than expected, but in 35 years we’ve never had a covered porch, and I think it will be a life changer.
