Brokeback Mountain is a 2005 American neo-Western romantic drama film directed by Ang Lee and produced by Diana Ossana and James Schamus. Adapted from the 1997 short story of the same name by Annie Proulx, the screenplay was written by Ossana and Larry McMurtry. The film stars Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway, and Michelle Williams and depicts the complex romantic relationship between two American cowboys, Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist, in the American West from 1963 to 1983. Wait this is so crazy. The first time I watched that movie a year ago I couldn't stop thinking about it for days. Like I felt actually depressed- like someone I love died- for weeks. And as a non-swiftie (not anti swiftie- I just don't listen to a lot of her music anymore) I think one of the best songs ever written was cowboy like me. So in my Brokeback Mountain recovery period I listened to this song and I immediatly thought; this song belongs to this movie. So now whenever I hear this song I think of this movie and get so emotional- and now I'm shocked to see that someone made a little edit with this song and movie together.
Random thought- but I love this so much this is amazing.
