I’m over the moon in love with Professor Stranberg’s course on Eliot. I hope he is still well, although I am painfully aware that these lectures are several years old. Thank you.
Just outstanding analysis! I thought American universities had stamped out this kind of lucid exegisis in favour of turgid post-modernism? Thank you, Prof Strandberg.
Excellent. Mr Strandberg speaks in such a relaxed but knowledgable manner on what could otherwise be perceived as a highly inaccessible and (unfortunately) increasingly irrelevant subject - the poetry of T.S Eliot. However, one finds one willing him at one stage, to shout “Wilma! Shut that f*****g mutt up!”.
1. It is an honour listening to Prof. Standberg.
2. Close caption at 2:14 is brilliant. :)
