Nobody likes low rise nowadays, but it was definitely a trend back then. My best friend still only feels comfortable in low rise. I tried telling her that really no one wears them anymore. She doesn't care. Like I said, that's what she's comfortable in. Lol, she always thought that anything highwaisted was too mom-ish. FYI, I graduated HS in 2005

@@Secretcrushonglam lol, I like that, only because it reminds me of my best friend. Personally, I've always preferred something a lil higher. . . Actually, I'm not sure what it wud be called. I prefer mine about an inch below the belly button. Is that mid rise, or high rise? I know I've seen higher, but there's a thing called super high rise too. So I'm not sure what's what.
I graduated in 2004 and I still wear my old ridiculously low-waist jeans.

I just found a sweater that I got when I was in the spring of 8th Grade (1999) and wore to First Night 2000. I still can rock the sweater, and it fits even better now. Paired with some nice new 501's (I started wearing button-fly's after college, and they've become my signature jean model when not at the work place). and it's a great combination of old, new, and some late 90's early 2000's chillness.
