- Summer Tour Episode 2. We all hear about Croatia 🇭🇷 and it’s somewhere we always wanted to visit…is it as beautiful as people say and is it fun to take your campervan there? Can you free-camp ok? Are the campsites any good? When we packed our Ford Nugget Campervan for an adventure (episode 1) we knew we were going to Croatia but we didn’t know where, or where it would eventually lead us to! This is the second episode of our multipart Summer Tour series and we certainly did not plan on going where we ended up!

We are Jordan, Jo, Holly, Izzy and Poppy, the calicamperfamily. Our current van is a 2022 Ford Nugget Plus. It is a 5 seater and sleeps all 5 of us too.
We are British and live and work permanently in Northern Italy alongside Lago Maggiore, near the Alps and not far away from Milan.

Love your videos. I’m trying to convince my wife to buy a camper but they’re soo expensive. Of course our 3 daughters are in they’re 20’s now, we should have bought one 20 years ago 😢
Wow, you have 3 daughters too?!! Well done, I love it! Campers are expensive but maybe you could play the ‘they hold their value well’ card and ‘think of the freedom’…plus, ‘we can lend it to our daughters to use too…?!’. l left a comment on your older video of how much did it cost so not sure if you will see it. what i am asking is are the nuggest plus vans available now in the uk? who sells them? thanks
Hi Anne. The Nugget Plus pop top is available in the UK. They have only been available for the last couple of years, so the easiest way to buy one would be a second hand one…but they are hard to find. Ordering one to your own spec can take up to 2 years. Some dealers have new stock but you have to be quick. The high top versions like mine are not yet available in the UK, which is a shame. First place to look is a Ford Commercial Vehicle dealer. But, be warned, they often don’t know much if anything about them! But, bigger more reputable places will know. Good luck! 👍
