Texas A&M University: Why It Pays To Be An Aggie | Money | TIME
/ timemagazine
Very true. My youngest brother, Class of 2006, every job he's had, there has been an AggiesEx on the other side of the table. 2018 he's VP of a major IT firm in the US. Guy that hired him?, AggieEx. It's a damn cult but a good one. Gigem.
After graduation an Aggie is a former student, as there are no exes @ Texas A&M University. Once an Aggie always an Aggie! 👍
I truly want my kids going to A&M.
"There is a spirit that can never be told..."
Just denied my A&M acceptance letter a couple months ago. UA-cam what you tryin to do.
i hope you read their standards
My dad just got this!!! He graduated in the 90s (or early 2000s, not sure when). It looks amazing!!!😍😍
“Cult?” That it is my friend. That it is. Whoop!
I’ve known what college I’m going to since I was 4 and I’m now figuring out what what I my major to be . (I know it will probably change lol)
Did you figure it out
Gig 'Em Aggies!
Just Jules Your Awesome!!! Saw them Off!!
True
Sad to resort to buy a name for ego. In the end--education is self education. NO university or person can magically turn one on intellectually. USA colleges are like gang affiliations these days. Deplorable way of USA. Someday, college will be viewed as nothing more than corporations selling a pretty package full of entrails.
Jane Smith lol. Grow up son. You have no idea what you're talking about.
#20😏 . 🍐 rank #20 on my list of best fruits!
Do you offer Modern Greek at Texas A&M?
Go to the university web site and see.
TheEvilResidue we have better greek life ;)))
GIG EM
Very Expensive and academically to go to A&M, "what it pays to go to Aggieland"
Expensive? Dude compared to other big universities A&M is not expensive. The rent for apartments is cheaper than you can find for other top tier universities. Where are you getting your information?
@@killer_crocs9589 guess YOU live in Texas,
my plan is Txst for out-of-state with an achievable out-of-state tuition wavier to have in-state cost.
@@hermes-stanlvu4116 Thats pretty much every university when it comes to out of state tuition. Thats just how it is. Also you know you can establish a residency in texas and then pay in state tuition right?
@@killer_crocs9589 to let you know, i have to stay in Texas with my relatives down there for 12 months/1 year, OH WAIT, I'm gonna be a SENIOR, everyone signs up this fall
@@hermes-stanlvu4116 and? corona might still keep school online. you can wait a year work for that year save money then go to college paying instate tuition with some money saved up to help you along. you dont have to go to college right after high school. I know a lot of people who didnt
Nice advertising MONEY. How much 💰💰👏🏻
I agree. Just sad. That is all one can say. Sad. And they do so with a straight face.
all that matters is they had the money to do it 😊
@@colinfletcher1344 WHOOP
its a cult.
Hell if the cult gets you a good job after graduation I’m in
fax
It's a very rich cult full of rich alums and brilliant engineers and scientists.
What do UT students and A&M student have in common….. they both applied to UT
The University of Tennessee? Why? A&M alum make the most $$$ and have more CEOs in the top 500 companies of any school in Texas. Why go to Tennessee?
@@user-eo9dc5gs8k lol….. Tennessee….. idiot
🇺🇸🥰 🌈😎🤓🌈
I hate *gay* people🤬🤬😠👹
no thanks! I'm a tea sipper!!
A&M has more Fortune 500 CEOs than any other college (4). Their businesses are Exxon mobil, Phillips 66, Humana and Cigna. the average Aggie graduate at mid-career earns 99.7K annually, which puts A&M at 18th in the list of top universities. UT graduates at the mid-career point earn 96.4K, putting UT 25th on the list of top universities.
@@coltonripley3956 I'm still a teasipper!
When will TU start accepting men....get with the times.
You go to aggie land better watch you rear cuz the kinda men they like scream, yell, manipulate and go to bed with leut Dan each night and wake up in a dress. Real men have character and follow the Lord. Southern fried brains...., jeez

Eh. Nothing on the Buckeyes.
Jeremiah Morgan Haha, I beg to differ.
cw39.com/2015/07/21/texas-am-graduates-most-forbes-100-ceos/
The only school outside the IVY schools that have the same amount of CEOs in the Forbes 100.
Where do you think Tx A&M gets the money for a half billion dollar renovation?
Jorge G eh. OSU is larger. One of the best medical cou tries in the school. Brand new cancer tower one of the largest and most advanced in the world. And I know you guys love your sports but I hate to break it to you... We absolutely destroy you there too.
Jorge G and if a half billion dollar renovation isn't shit. We build a tower last year that cost like 3x that. Oh and while you did it to make your whatever look pretty we build an advanced comprehensive Cancer center to save lives.
Jeremiah Morgan Umm... Wow you totally missed my point of the argument. The point of the video was that it is very beneficial to have an A&M degree because it opens doors to people and pays better. Your response: "Nothing on the Buckeyes" (with no supporting evidence I might add). My counter point to your response was a link to a list of Texas A&M alumni CEOs in the Forbes 100 that can only be match by the Ivy Schools. It shows that there is no sealing for an A&M graduate. The Half Billion dollar stadium was an example of what the A&M alumni can contribute. A&M alumni has contributed in other Billion dollar projects not just only the stadium. I used the stadium as an example because it was currently in the college football spotlight which I assumed you knew about. It's cool that Ohio State is building a Cancer Center but my question still is how is having an Ohio State degree better that having an A&M degree?
Here's another link that further proves my point.

It shows that Aggies make more money in their lifetime than Buckeyes. Which it brings us back to the title of the video of why "It pays to be an Aggie".
Jorge G you have no point. You're telling me about a stadium when you don't want to compare football programs with me, and I bring up how we spend our money and you write me a damn book because you're upset about my comparison.
54,000 is not the income of someone you call boss haha what a joke can you name a major successful business man who thinks college is a good idea.
"After 5 years"
Didn't know there were many managers only 5 years out of college.
