Oh my god the nostalgia is unreal. One of the first DnB tracks I remember listening.
even though i've never heard this before, it brings back memories just by the style of the music; used to listen to songs like this all the time. i like this a lot.

... back in that "era" I had a channel with 500 subscribers and never an upload just with playlists of good songs. Lots are now unavailable (having been deleted or accounts lost) but there's a lot of gems.

It's not like i love dnb THAT much but the typical 174-176 bpm breakbeat is probably the most natural thing for the human's ear.Sounds so natural.

great intro - not too long, not too short - wonderful bass, divine melody... if you want to give a sample-dnb-track to somebody, this track will be a a almost perfect choice ... f*cking nice tune..
Dnb is 160 -180 bpm, they just half it at 174bpm to make the samples easier to manipulate and fit into the track, but the beat will show up at 87bpm on a mixer but on a tempo meter its 174 :)

@marcelito5325 Drum and bass has fast breakbeats (typically between 160-190 bpm, with occasional variation), with heavy sub-basslines. Dubstep has a 2step rhythm and an emphasis on generally "dark" basslines and is generally produced at a tempo of around 140 beats per minute, not forgetting the ever popular wobble bass and bass drops that drum and bass doesn't have.
If you have no idea what any of that means: Drum and bass is fast and dubstep is slower.
