I was compulsively checking youtube for hours hoping someone would post this. You guys are awesome as always!
You need to seek therapy
The Edge’s solo during The Fly has to be one of the best guitar (and at the same time most underrated) solos of history.
Yes sir
My favorite Edge solo, perfection.
yes!!!!
It’s one of my favorites, but I prefer it on the Gibson Les Paul Custom that he used in Boston 2001.
Oh Yeah!
Bono with same outfits same glasses 30 years ago amazing❤ the fly my fav song, thank you huys for sharing
Talk about a comeback! no doubts..U2 is making the universe explode!
❤️🔥😎🎶🎸🆎️
Bravo Bram van den Berg !! NAILED IT!!
Yes he did!!!👌🥁🇳🇱
It's your world, you can change it.
3:01 The Fly!! He’s back!!
"The Fly" fully realized! Spectacular overload.
The Fly!!! even with the fly shades!! LOVE IT!!!! Thank you for posting this!!
I'll be wearing my Fly shades with him for _The Fly_ on Oct. 5th (this upcoming Thursday.)
Glad they finally went back to the zooTV arrangement version of this song. This song was made for the SPhere.
Great, must have been wonderful to have been there on opening night. ❤
Gotta be the fukn sickest audio visual I've ever seen.
Wow Edge's voice really resonates in there
Puts Bono's dying voice to shame.
@@JonVoid37 oh rubbish..his voice is t dying. The Edge always sang over Bono in The Fly.
@@MA-eb2kz It's The Edge. The drummer doesn't doesn't have a vocal mic from the pictures I've seen. You can see The Edge mess with his mic before he sings at 1:18.
One of the best Guitar solos of all time
Lmao are you serious
Wish to be there!!! Amazing!!!! U2.. what else?
The Fly is back! 🪰😎
U2 has nailed it in.
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.

Great rendition.. Bran hammering away like a jockey at the three o clock at Chepstow.. they just about snatched the ending from the jaws of death .. lucky miss!
Thanks for the audio feed yesterday and the videos today! ❤
This is absolutely insane!
What kind of magic is this??
Stunning
It’s pretty obvious.
Holy crap, Edge's BVs are crazy good.

Amazing performance from the 4 but I need to add an extra mention to Bram, amazing work on drums.
Seen this already! 30 years ago.....YAWN
The Edge carries this song. Cool vid...
he didnt carry the song silly. Bono was headmaster the whole way
The FLY is back
When I saw this live he used a Gibson LP Custom. It sounded much bigger/fuller.
He has always alternated between the Strat (Zoo TV, Glastonbury) and the Les Paul (Elevation tour) for this one.
In the original video, he's using a Les Paul. Dont know which guitar he used for the recording. I think it sounds great either way.
Yeah, I have seen them 5 times over the years. One of the best bands of all time.@@815Lucas
Nostálgic ❤
Magnificent
U2 is U2 again
No it's not. There's no U2 without Larry.
A decision made because of money instead of waiting for the recovery of the founding and most essential member of U2.
@@harryireland1935 No.
la mouche a vieilli mais la mouche est belle et bien là 😍😍😍
Únicos ❤
That looks and sounds amazing. I have tickets for Nov 1s. Can't wait.
How was your experience???
Lucky people
so far away bono is the size of a fly
What annoys me is that they aren't showing the band on the screen as much as they should. How are the audience at the back going to see the guys on stage?
They showed the band or some of the members often... not constantly but often
Maybe the message is what you should read?
U2 now…..only money moneyirish spirit finished….so sade fan since 1980, not now
The return of the wise men and the Messiah.....From Sicily to North side of Dublin with love....
Funny to think that the band ended like McPhisto: old glories in their dusk living from a glorious past while acting in LAS VEGAS.
McPhisto wearing a wig 🥳👩🦰✌🏻
This is the most disappointing event in the band's history. It's a sideshow of money and profiting on past performances, rather than producing anything decent.
Bono said it himself, if U2 is no longer relevant, that's the end.
And this is the end. The decision to leave out Larry and just replace him rather than waiting for his recovery is based on money, or greed, or instant gratification.
Whatever the reason, it sounds awful. Any longterm fan will acknowledge that you clearly hear the difference. No offence to Bram, but there's only one Larry Mullen.
What a shameful way to destroy a band's trackrecord and legacy.
I don’t agree. Bono said that they feel a band needs to play live and they hadn’t done it for a long time so they didn’t want to wait another year or two while Larry recovers, and Larry is okay with that. You can either have U2 radio silence until 2025 or an autobiography, 40 songs reimagined with some an improvement others not so much, and an interesting light show and Edge clearly picking up extra vocal duties to compensate for Bono’s diminishing range. It’s all good.
@@jacksonmiked It's nowhere even close to being 'good'.
There's no excuse for replacing a bandmember. Any bandmember.
This isn't U2.
So you go ahead and come up with all kinds of excuses or reasons to defend a really horrible decision.
As far as I'm concerned, this is the beginning of the end.
And I honestly couldn't care less about rehashed old material.
As Bono said himself, U2 can only continue to exist as long as they're relevant.
I guess he's right about that.
@@jacksonmiked I wonder if Bono does not sing in playback:/ Listen to the Fly version ... it's blatant !
Holy shit
Bram van den Berg on drums does a good job. Great song!
True. He did a great job in all the video clips I’ve seen so far, and what a tough job. Must be so much pressure on him. Congrats to Bram on his excellent work.
You just missed the cool drop ceiling effect.
Thank you for the video, is it easy to bring the camera in?
U2 é sensacional 👍🤘
The best show in the world. The Fly the icon and biggests and Rocker song of that álbum.
Good subliman message
Watch tv beLIEve
Not the setup i was imaging, so the star of the show is the screen
Did they pretty much do the whole achtung baby record the first part of the show? If so that's fucking awesome
BIGGEST BAND ON EARTH
Interesting words on tthe screens...
I loved the part where the ceiling seems like it’s coming down on the people and you failed to capture it lol you zoomed in
👏👏👏👏👏👏🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🎸🎸🎸🎸🎤🎤🎤
You know what is funny :who is seeking for an immersive experience 😅😅😂😂😂
The music is mind blowing but the vocals nearly kill it. Thankfully the Edge in the chorus saves it.
LOL mate dont be ridiculous Bono sang it absolutely perfectly. Its never been any other way. The chorus over Bono was always higher than Bono. Bono sang it to perfection in this
Yes vocals go with age unfortunately. Thanks for saying what I was thinking.
@@wrestlingguy5360 Bono in his prime eg see his part on the original 1984 Band Aid. Then in Band Aid in 2004 20 years later and nearly 20 years ago how his voice had declined. Heavy smoker wouldn't have helped things. But the band sound so good and when your there it will all sound amazing anyhow which matters most really.
@@wrestlingguy5360 no dude....many get better as they age. Bono is singing fine...many singers peak in their 50s 60s
Bono sounds absolutely dreadful here
Incredible Subliminal ❤😮👌🌹💞
Yeah, I don't pay to see shit on a wall
❤
Which smartphone did you use to film? Great zoom 😮
Thanks for posting. What level were you at? I’ll be there 10/18.
I wonder if Dallas Shoo is still Edge’s guitar tech.
Also, billion dollar stage… Could’ve used a full video platform floor. Looks a little boring and static down there. I mean, a giant turntable?
These new versions of the songs really blow
New versions? They’re playing the same as the album. 🤔
Thanks!!! 🪰 For posting
How was the sound ?
How did you get the sound this good?
2:52 Edge out of tune 😍
He made the rookie error of not realising that that section is a key change lol. And he WROTE it. I have seen so many people play that note wrong - it's just one semitone / fret but it sounds sh*t when you do it
He just hit a bum note, it happens.
Something like this...
First time through:
14-14-12-12-10-10-8-8-7-7
Second time:
12-12-10-10-9-9-10-9-7
Even the master forgets to play 9 not 8 😂😂😂
@@NearlyEdge I mean you can hear it, don't need to write out the tab, lol.
@@andrew6978 There is a possibility that someone else might be interested? It wasn't for you specifically 👍🏻
I've been seeing the videos around the rainbow matrix and I though I was about to see the best quality video of it. I must say.....I know is U2 and all of that, but at this animation level nobody cares about filming the edge playing a solo🤣😅.....you just missed the roof top coming down!!!!, anyways thanks for sharing
😎✌️
Great Vid but unfortunately you took the camera away from the best effect of this song where the roof closes down on top of the crowd. There’s other vids posted that show that. Definitely worth looking into.
What’s the sound quality like in the venue?
So s....l....o.....w!
Literally why would you zoom in on the band when we all want to see the screens.
How long does the show last for? Do they play Achtung Baby in tracklist order? Do they play new songs?
22 songs. 16 for AB and 6 others including Atomic City
@@fedebjalways Thanks. So, about 2.5 hours?
They don’t play it in the order of the album. They played it almost identical to the order it was played during the ZooTV tour up until “One”. Then they play I think 4 songs acoustically from other albums, then I think they play the rest of the album and then end with a few more. They played 22 songs in total. The show was a little over 2 hours maybe 2 & a 1/2 hours.
@@TylerBaker1994 That's great. Thank you.
@@TylerBaker1994 Do they play Bad?
Would be a shame if they left off one of their biggest Classics in concert
What level were you sitting?
2023 and they look and sound like it was 1991
Tour?
I would like to hear and see Pink Floyd in the Sphere. Who is U2?
What happened to Larry Mullen Junior
song? 3:21
what is up with all the words flashing across the screen!?! horrible subliminal messaging.....
It’s wild that no one else said anything about it
