I find it ironic that Justin Timberlake made Brittney Spears look so bad for cheating on him and breaking his heart. But look at all the scandals and rumors about him cheating on his wife.
Justin is always seen cozying up to women who AREN’T his wife. Plus NYSN confirmed britney never cheated.

Also notice how there’s photos of him with other women on the internet while he was with Britney, but there was not one photo that showed Britney with wade. I’m not saying she didn’t cheat but I always found it weird how there was proof that he cheated but there was no proof when it came to Britney, but somehow she got the short end of the stick.

@@rubyjane9119 After he broke up with Britney, Justin (and I presume his PR manager) worked hard to soil Britney’s name and cast her as the villain in this story. Every interview Justin had, he took opportunities to drag her name through the mud. Take the Barbara Walters interview, for example.
When they broke up, Justin went everywhere laughing and joking about this. He did this to damage her image. Naturally, due to the sexist nature of the industry and society in general, this only damages Britney’s image and does no damage to his image. The constant disparaging of Britney was embarrassing, rude and vindictive. Some of what Justin said about this was just plain disgusting and could have been avoided entirely (e.g. talking about going down on Britney).
Justin doesn’t stop there, he also takes any chance he gets to take shots at Britney. For example, he bashed her career decision to do Crossroads. Let’s be honest here - if Justin had been offered a movie, he would have done it in a heartbeat. Justin also dissed Britney during an acceptance speech at the Brits in 2007. Even if we ignore the fact that the break up was 5 years prior to that at the time, this is absolutely deplorable. Britney was in the midst of the worst year of her life and experiencing a mental breakdown. She was getting attacked at every angle in her life and of course, he just has to pile on because she is an easy target.
The mocking doesn’t stop there and there are so many examples (He mocked her in 2008 while inducting Madonna into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame; during a 2009 SNL skit; he called Britney a B**** at a 2013 performance; bringing up Cry Me a River as an example of his suffering in 2016 - a full 16 years after the song's release and making fun of Vegas residencies in 2018).
It's just sick to be honest smh...

Just because those were the lyrics, does not mean what happened was intentional. That lyric was more of a metaphor on stage, an over exaggerated metaphor for revealing a red lace instead if that makes sense. It wasn't really for attention, it was just to go along with the lyrics, people could care less if she had a red lace on, that wouldn't have been talked about or gain attention at all. So many more important things going on in the world, and people cared about that? I will never understand, it was Janet's stylist who came up with it, but they never intended for it to go as far as it did, so it's not really their fault. Justin should have gotten most of the blame, since he messed up and ripped too much of the costume. As for the piercing, Janet had that for years, ever since the Velvet Rope, she has always had those kind of piercings for several years up until the super bowl. That story was just a tabloid and Janet did not get that ring before the show, she had it on for a while up until that point, Justin was honestly at fault the most, Janet the least, but she's a black woman so of course she got nearly destroyed, but no one can keep Janet down, her Control album just went number one on iTunes a couple weeks ago on it's 35th anniversary.

To be honest I don't believe either of them should be blamed for what happened at the halftime show. It was planned that Justin Timberlake would tear off her black bustier to reveal her red bra but something went wrong and the bra came off with it. It was all an accident.
But I do believe he should be blamed and heavily criticized for not coming to her defense afterwards and not attempting to take the blame away from her. I'm not sure if it would have even helped any at the time but at least he would have been doing something to try and help her.

I’m with you on this. Justin Timberlake definitely wasn’t innocent in the whole endeavor, but I believe the documentary brought it up to point out the hypocrisy, double standard, and cruelty of the media that allowed Timberlake to benefit off these women.
