As far as I know, no. One of the requirements in applying for a permanent residency is at least you have lived in Japan for a minimum of 10 CONTINUOUS YEARS. And 5 years of that 10-year-requirement must be spent working in Japan with a valid work visa. TITP trainees doesn't have a work visa. They only have trainee visa. 😁 Thank you for commenting!

Hi! Basic Japanese language training will always be included in any program that caters to foreign worker applicants (English speakers or otherwise). But I do suggest to self study 日本語 before applying for the program. Thank you for commenting! 😁
