- This is a simple video I made while I work on the eclipse video. And by "simple" I mean short! xD I don't think people actually realise the amount of effort that goes into making these oc videos! anyways after a sh*t tonne of work this video is done! yayyyyy xD
and this is an oc of mine, however I'm not sure if it will become one of my main one's. this is only due to the fact that making another oc story will be a huge amount of pressure. HOWEVER i have an idea for it. which I showed in this video.

STORY-
the story of this video is that Grimmel has a Nightfury of his own, He use's it to lure others to him. That is how he managed to kill so many of them. His nightfury is shown to stalk toothless as it waits for the perfect time to attack. that moment comes as he grabs Hiccup from Toothless. toothless finally manages to climb from the cold ice. He sees hiccup and runs towards him, only to be shot down. leaving both him and hiccup at the mercy of Grimmel and his nightfury - Розваги

You used heather for that girl.. Heather is my favourite httyd character ... and one of my best Ocs is a nightfury with golden eyes who can transform.. and heather is my Ocs best friend...

Yup that was brilliant
Actually this would have made the movie way better. The idea of having the villain have the only other living nightfury would be a real obstacle for hiccup and toothless to overcome. Especially if the villain night fury is stronger, it puts a wrench in toothless being king. It also highlights how a bond between dragon and humans doesnt always mean something positive for the world, making the separate between hiccup and toothless even harder to do.
It would also give Hiccup and Toothless a real moral dilemma on what to do about the dragon, since it's the only other Night Fury
I really enjoy how well the smile that was originally an adorable scene became some sort of creepy smirk. Just adds so much to the character.

Imagine how nice it would be to see Grimmel develop with his night fury and make him be more than a lifeless villain who's only in the movie to get in the way of Hiccup and Toothless, and tell viewers he's killed all the night furies, just that.
I think it would be even better if Grimmel's night fury was a female, and the plot of the movie was her approaching Toothless and deciding to switch sides.
And by the way, this edition is amazing, wonderful work ❤

They really should have used this idea. There are so many people with good ideas and reworks. Maybe they should make their own what if movies.
Seeing how everyone is lead to believe Toothless is the last Night Fury, this would’ve been a HUGE twist.
I feel like the male idea could be a bit better. Instead of toothless warming up to the creature, he could see it as a sucsessor, trying to steal hiccup from him and all that he loves from him. Just a thought.

Males are normally a lot bigger than females in the human world, maybe that could be similar in the dragon world. According to AtomicJamie's comment, "Firstly the night fury is much bigger than toothless", the Night fury either has mutated across the years or that it is an older male. Also, shapeshifting doesn't feel very "How to train your dragon"
Female birds of prey are mostly larger than males
Yeah because shapeshifting doesnt really fit HTTYD
Or its a titan wing- theres no proof all dragon species cant have titan wings but there is also very little evidence to suggest they can, just a thought tho

Now this is sick and actually matches the music. Now I would like to add the fact that this " evil Night Fury " will also be killed, since Grimmel wanted them all dead. Ofc, like he mentioned in the films, he drugs his dragons with their own poison, so he maybe did the same with the Night Fury to help him, and once he is the one left, he would finish the last Night Fury. Pretty sad but, must say again, sick video. Wow. 👏👏👏
Its a “Leopards eat everyone’s face” scenario where someone is only on that side because they think they’ll be an exception

When Toothless(before he met hiccup)meets this shapeshifter and after having an encounter with her,she informs Grimmel about Toothless and we see her again in Httyd3. Honestly,that would be so cool!

Imagine this was the 3rd movie… “You need dragons to destroy dragons” “You need nigh furies to destroy night furies”
This would have been amazing for the movie as well as everybody thought that Toothless was the last night fury but Hiccup still wished that he wasn’t, the TWIST it would have been

A good turn of events could have been helping that nf get out of Grimmel's control once they got rid of him, that way maybe there would have been some chances for expanding the nf species? Maybe if there was that one it could have ment there were more?

okay okay BUT imagine if grimmel had his own night fury and it was female. there's no light fury. just the female night fury who lures toothless under grimmel's command but she eventually turns on him? then she and toothless rule the hidden world instead of the light fury. this would not only make it so all the hype of "finding another fury" is actual delivered on instead of cheating us out with a light fury (i'm still upset about that, let me stay upset) PLUS giving the love interest an actual purpose and personality instead of just having her character being as flat as a door with "love interest" being her only purpose.

By what I mean by this is I want this but I don’t want it to replace the light fury not because she’s one of my favourite dragons which she is not by the way but because I think it’s a good thing they added her and more importantly if she never were added then we never would have gotten the night lights
