One in eight people who have been infected with the coronavirus suffers from long-term complaints, such as memory loss, concentration problems and extreme fatigue. Healthcare worker Nicole de Kruijff is one of them. She has been at home with long COVID (also called post-COVID) for over a year. There is no prospect of a solution yet. Human movement researcher Rob Wüst wants to change that, together with researchers from the UMC Amsterdam. In Brainwash Bits he explains what long COVID is and how society should deal with it.
