We have layers of nostalgia upon nostalgia with this album from V. The music styles are nostalgic, some recalling the crooners and orchestra music and glamour from the Big Band Era. And there are the visuals of the "hippie beach party": nostalgia for the 1970's vibe, a day trip with friends to the beach. The songs of the album are a tale of a man's journeys into the nostalgia he feels for a lost relationship. Memories of his loved one are nostalgic. Then V gives us this last song, and the music video visuals are about V himself, remembering the good times working with everyone who helped make all the other music videos. Laughing, hugging, smiling that boxy smile. It's his real-life nostalgia for his actual work experiences, shared with ARMY since all of his work was to express himself "For Us". I'd love to go to the mv again and see all the credits that run at the end. He's so aware of the contributions made by so many. I so appreciate him for showing us his happy creative times in Spain, and for ending this video with a smile. Good review and I agree his English lyrics are amazing, the way he can turn a phrase like "You went from my home to it's been nice to know you" and Sweet Nights "my forevers falling down" can make me weep instantly. He is the ultimate Idol but what makes him truly special is his genuine humility and gratitude fully appreciating all those blessings you spoke of. He feels to me like a gift we all need. You loved his rock duds, I think the gold coat deserves it's own moment.

Love the song, love the full album, love the live performances and love that V left the storyline with a cliff hanger that was unanswered at the end of the album so that army could come up with their own theories. It is soooooo Kim Taehyung. By the way DT, bts has given us about 5 videos for ONE song, lol. His live performance of this song on tiny desk was amazing, in fact the whole tiny desk was a jam session, its a shame that the songs were too short.

Good review and I agree his English lyrics are amazing, the way he can turn a phrase like "You went from my home to it's been nice to know you" and Sweet Nights "my forevers falling down" can make me weep instantly. He is the ultimate Idol but what makes him truly special is his genuine humility and gratitude fully appreciating all those blessings you spoke of. He feels to me like a gift we all need. You loved his rock duds, I think the gold coat deserves it's own moment.

Love the song, love the full album, love the live performances and love that V left the storyline with a cliff hanger that was unanswered at the end of the album so that army could come up with their own theories. It is soooooo Kim Taehyung. By the way DT, bts has given us about 5 videos for ONE song, lol. His live performance of this song on tiny desk was amazing, in fact the whole tiny desk was a jam session, its a shame that the songs were too short.
