Goddamn I love HIM, Ville’s voice is simply just so beautiful. This song never fails to make me tear up a little, the sound, the delivery, the aesthetic and the lyrical theme is simply beautiful. Beautiful, beautiful beautiful is all HIM is.
In the European cut of the 1999 science fiction movie "The Thirteenth Floor" this was the end credits song (US version has something from The Cardigans). I never saw this video before, only the one with scenes from the movie and the band performing within a green and red light show.
Me and my friends used to have HIM parties. Had to wear only black and pink clothes, drank only black or pink drinks and listened HIM all night long. 😂🩷🖤

HIM has always been one of my all-time favorite bands, I remember when they had people submit their heartagram tattoos for their dark light album. My tattoo got into the booklet, along with ton of others, which I thought was really awesome on their part! I saw them so long ago I can’t honestly remember if I’ve seen them only once or twice but I know when I saw them in Lauderdale my boyfriend at the time and I were there with his brothers, and after the show Ville was being escorted into a building by security, and my boyfriend yelled his name out, and he stopped and turned around just to come sign all of our CD booklets, but no one else’s! It was the coolest thing ever! I would say show Chels a a couple more from RR and then just go in order! Poison Girl or Resurrection maybe?
I remember thinking that this is something different when their version of Wicked Game was playing on the radio. I felt the same with Valo's Finnish version of Annie's Song (Olet Mun Kaikuluotain). An artist who wrote lyrics for the Finnish version in 1976 made also this song. A bit similar band as HIM. The song was on a soundtrack: "Sara - Yhtenä iltana".
