The Making of the Cecil Griffiths Olympic Gold Memorial

Cecil Griffiths, a true Welsh sporting hero in track and field, has had no headstone at his place of rest for almost 80 years. Mossfords Memorial Masons created this stunning memorial, shaped and gilded from a boulder of Welsh slate to commemorate his achievements for his granddaughter and her family. A very proud moment for all the designers, craftsmen, stonemasons and fitters involved.
