I have an old Zoom GFX 707 which has served me well for years, and this might be my next effects pedal. I wasn't aware it came with this free download until I saw your video. Thanks for sharing!
I used Edit & Share with the G2Nu pedal. Very easy to create and edit pedals in a chain. Apparently there's new 'Sound Lab v.3.0' software which I assume works in the same or a similar way? But Edit & Share is very straightforward and as G5 works with that, you have two choices - E&S or SL v.3
Thanks for the nice video. If possible I would like to see a comparison between the G5, the GT100 and the POD HD. If you can do that would be great. thank you !!
Hi if I follow instructions as in your video can I go into a setting which has delay echo with a reverb and test it for a Hank Marvin sound. Advice would be very helpful. Thankyou
Make sure edit and share is compatible with your particular type pedal first. All software dont work with every pedal. you can try rebooting your computer. If that dont work try reinstalling, but make sure its compatible for your pedal/device. Thx Ed
So what are the g5p patches? They are not for G5n (zptc). It seems like the g5a are all of the patches, hence the name "patch group" and g5p are presumably individual patches, but how do you import them to one of the 297 slots? Edit&Share only imports patch groups!?
Try rebooting computer and then try uninstalling and then reinstalling the software. sometimes during install and or during the process of using the software there might be an option to use or not use microsoft GS wave make sure you unselect taht option...hope that works for you...Ed
my comp recognizes the device ..but edit and share doesnt ...this 'microsoft gs wavetable synth' keeps showing up in the midi output when i try to install the updater.....any tips on that ?
I think its only Le teh entry level version...You know Im sorry I cant remember even getting that software , but ususally when they give out software its and entry level version....Ed
Uninstall program and make sure you are using the right program..ie windows 7 and not another version apple etc etc...It should install fairly easy...if done right make sure you read instructions...mine went flawlessly....good luck God Bless....Ed
Kenneth Borrett I'm sure you can manipulate any patch, I can't say for sure I sold that pedal a l9ng time ago, but most pedals allow for tweaking and then saving..hope that helps. Ed
+Ajan Wave make sure you loaded all the correct drivers, software, you might have loaded software for a MAC or something like that..Start over check everything closely.....Ed :)
+Cretu Alexandru Follow video, if that dont work then reboot your computer after installing all software..sometimes rebooting computer helps things work better. Ed
Edward you suck....I picked one up today and was fiddling with it. I came across your vid and now instead of going to bed....I'm inspired and have to fiddle all night,LOL. Thanks for taking the time to do this video. Very cool stuff.
