Josh you really have been behind the scenes with so much success in this program. Some people just don't understand how much of an impact you have on this New England Patriots Organization. My only advice is don't outsmart yourself; that week against the Raiders with those backs in rotation, I don't know what happened to James Taylor but he set the point of intensity for Burkhead and company ... That is what we should lead with every week until we need to change what we really have planned for the upcoming defense... There are some players that are practice players and some players that are game players... I seen a difference between those 3 RB's that game when the #1 was out.. They brought the intensity that was necessary to beat any NFL team... I personally would go back to that and make the #1 want to get in there and play at his potential. Thank you for sharing your life more instead of being the man behind the scenes who has to do with the overall success of the team. Your family should be proud of you sir.

Looks to me like the 49ers do the cover on top with the deep 1/3 so the corners take risks at about 15-17 yards deep cause they know they have a safety over the top .. so my advice is to pick on the corners before that zone over the top coverage... Another thing I saw was when you have your O line go to the second level on the opposite side of the run teams have had success... for example when the right side goes to the second level and the run is to the left ... teams run all over the 49ers... Let's do this and solidify the Patriots with the run and pass game. It is up to you to put things together Josh McDaniels are you up for the challenge ;) I know you are.... Let's do this...
The only way how I can see McDaniel going to the raiders is IF McDaniel put together a strong staff. Brian Flores as DC and perhaps Bill O Brain as the OC. And maybe get Tom Brady as the QB coach to coach up Carr.
