There's also the water physics issue being available only on pc but not in mobile. Mobile processors couldn't handle the graphics load to generate such a realistic and tasty water
PS5 Is good too, as someone who started it in mobile I feel like I missed so many cool things because my game is constantly stuck on low quality or else my phone is gonna explode
Great video, indeed it looked like immense work to put all this footage together! It's worth mentioning that on PC it's possible to play natively in 120 FPS. I don't know why devs didn't provide this option in the UI, but you only need to edit the graphics setting registry key. It's a JSON text stored as a REG_BINARY key and you can just replace 30/60 with 120 and it works perfectly.
with all the slop of content coming out across all hoyo games right now, this was a breath of fresh air. very in-depth and high quality (pun unintended) video, which deserves more views and attention. so, you've earned a scubscrib from this person right here. :) would want to watch more videos of this calibre even about games i may not play or have heard of
@@ababilashari9970 i mean, hoyo too _and_ content creators. what with powercreep especially and the constant black screen used in Amphoreus, made it quite unbearable to play star rail for a while. tho they did announce that they would "fix" these issues in the recent developers' radio
I'm honestly impressed with the scalability of hoyo games. Its nice that even though the lowest graphic settings look pretty ass, the options still there for those gaming on potatoes (like me)
I mainly play HSR on the PS5. However, I do have the mobile client installed on my phone. Sometimes getting a farm during the commute is neat. The difference in graphics is notable, but it isn't that jarring given that I barely even look at the screen while farming.
This video was amazing, as someone who uses unity to make games and has a love of hoyo's anime style games it was a great insight into how the inner workings of such a game might, could be, or is produced! Again, really an awesome video Seanny, really well made and enjoyed listening to your thoughts on the game from a developers perspective. 😎
As a mobile player the best Lu difference I noticed was the lower quality on environmental designs which does ruin the gaming experience everything else is good enough like combat and mini games
I love people with a certain area of professional knowledge talking about my favorite gacha game. Well made video, which makes me appreciate the game more.
I think one area where mobile is superior is the HDR rendering or premium OLED visual which you cannot emulate unless you spend a fortune to get such a display to match. I play on mobile and I have SD 8Elite which can easily handle this game even if they port the PC version directly to it however, I think the balance is well executed and as a mobile gamer, I like the approach they have taken. I can sacrifice 30% of added graphical fidelity at the expense of portability as I don't have to sit down for hours to play a game, I can play however and wherever I like and I can boot up in seconds.
I dont think the history of hsr if boring at least it is very interesting for me, its boring for some people just bc of the amount of dialogues in game, but only people who dont really care for the history that its being told at the moment just didnt like at all
Never played on mobile but started on PC and changed to PS5 when I got tired of sitting at my desk for how long they talk for. I never really noticed a difference between the two versions graphically tbh. Though the mobile version definitely takes a massive hit understandably. While I prefer ZZZ in terms of graphical style and overall game as a whole but HSR is very close behind it
Its pretty clear that they had to downgrade some aspects of the game heavily to fit it on mobile devices but just like Genshin or WuWa the developers did a fantastic job replicating the PC look on very limited hardware. As someone who plays the game on both systems I'm often surprised how little difference there is between the platforms excluding the generally lower resolution
Got best of both worlds by playing on my Legion Go. Seriously this machine feels like it’s made for HSR (and it’s great for other games too, of course). I’ve also had luck playing it on Steam Deck (with certain workarounds, iykyk) but LeGo is great if you want all the benefits of the PC while having the convienence of portability. And yes it’s big but it’s pretty portable still - removable controllers make it fit in pretty much every bag you can think of. I still use mobile sometimes, mostly when I only have the time/mood to do my dailies, but Legion is the definitive experience for me. I do play it on my laptop too sometimes but that thing needs some thorough cleaning since it’s been overheating and crashing with HSR and other games.
The PS5 version of the game is the same as the fully maxed out 4K PC version. Hopefully, we get a raytracing 144 Hz VRR like we did with Zenless Zone Zero a month ago, where they gave us a PS5 Pro enhanced version with those features and added Raytracing to the normal version. I feel like those additions to both the PC and PS5 versions on HSR would make the visual experience that much better.
Mobile devices are much more powerful than game developers give them credit for. I would bet money that my iPad Pro could run the desktop version of all the Hoyo games, because it’s as powerful as an actual desktop (an M2 Mac mini, to be precise). While I understand that keeping storage use under control is a much bigger concern on mobile when compared to desktop, for people with completely overkill mobile devices, the option to push the games that little bit further would be nice.
The biggest issue i have with HSR, and i hope someone can help me with it, is that even tho i play with ultra-wide monitor and 5120x1440 in-game setting, the game still displays with empty black spaces on the sides, not taking advantage of the full width of the wide screen. Unlike Genshin that opens up to true full screen resolution of 5120x1440. What do I need to change?? I even lose some text to the sides when we get the black screens with text bc the game thinks its displaying wider. I've looked around on the NVIDIA control panel and nothings jumps at me.
Idk how this got recommended into my feed because I'm more like a genshin player and have no interest in game making but its interesting. Also, I'm a mobile player, and for some reason, if you're using a samsung device, the quality is much better if you download it from the galaxy store than in play store.
Yup some company paid Hoyo to keep certain thing, like Iphone has no framerate limit and controller support. Playstation has the few year console exclusivity thing
Using an android device with entry 870 sd and i can see the difference I kept spamming report to hsr to fix their grqphics in mobile cuz its assed and everything is just blurry while genshin has better graphics when playing despite being an open world
Criminally underrated video for the effort put in.
There's also the water physics issue being available only on pc but not in mobile. Mobile processors couldn't handle the graphics load to generate such a realistic and tasty water
Us mobile players out here forced to have dasani water
Me watching this on my m-chip iPad air
I love the deliberate pacing of information in this video (time to really look) and the calming narration (time to think).

0:32 capital punishment for that team 💀
True arlan carries so hard that THE HERTA needs a buff man /J

I wish npc clothes looked normal in mobile as well ngl

crazy qualitiy video👍very important disclaimer at the end.
This was a very high quality video wow, I’d love to see more videos like this from you with other games.
i love HSR ad DLAA option and DLSS, been asking them from since 2.0 above at survey.
Underrated video! Love the content btw
Should definitely be mentioned that 120fps can only be reached on pc with an unlocker, while native ios can enable it by default.
Great video, surprised this video doesnt hav elike 400k views, really high quality content.

In thses days of fastpace blinding lights ....thanks for halting us to appreciate Art.
You could make a series out of this comparing PC vs Mobile for other gacha games, especially non-unity games like Wuthering Waves or Infinity Nikki.

When you finished all the end game content here we are noticing graphical contents in game
Did you use the new DLSS transformer model? Can you make a comparison with the old CNN model?

2:12 if only he knew about the powercreep 💀
Good video
What's with bangers like these coming out of nowhere
this is such a good vid… wow star rail on pc rlly looks better
one of the reason why i switch devices once i bought my laptop last year.

1:44 for me is more like a mainline chinese version of Warhammer 40K :P

The fact wizard of ozbeyond the yellow brick road does more than both of them is worrying
I lowkey have a gut feeling that Devs have made this game keeping PC as base and scaled down it to mobile devices just to expand player experience
Definitely because gensh for me has way more better graphics than hsr lol
@otakisenpai8377 did you mean to write hsr has way better graphics than genshin ?
Comparing "quality" on the The Herta ultimate with footage that differ in resolution was a bad idea.
wonder how it looks with dlss 4
So should I:
1) DLAA + Anti-aliasing OFF
or
2) DLAA + TAA?
GPU is not a problem
@@CringeLord69 It doesn't make a difference. When you're using the "Nvidia DLSS" parameter, it overrides the "Anti-Aliasing" parameter
@ I see, thanks, I played around the settings and I still think DLSS totally off and just use TAA gives the sharpest image
Cackling.. I use the same tablet makes it more moving for me..
Can you make one fof zenless zone zero
dlss is not in zenless zone zero yet, im sure he will do a video when it’s out
Could you make a video about the graphics of Genshin Impact?
Great video btw
@@ReKonstructor sorry I only played like 3hrs of Genshin Impact, so it'd be hard
Can you make video about graphics of zenless zone zero?
I probably got like 200hrs in HSR and 2hrs in ZZZ so it'd be pretty difficult 😅
imo they're pretty similar, but pc is only better in the reflections.
Idk how this got recommended into my feed because I'm more like a genshin player and have no interest in game making but its interesting. Really? I am using A50s. Not that I'm reinstalling. 😅

Do Genshin Impact next? Never played on mobile so I’m actually curious.
Using an android device with entry 870 sd and i can see the difference

My laptop can't render some parts for the game so mobile it is
23:23 🌈🤣
Me who's phone is able to run it better than pc 🗿
Strange times, is it?
Playstation 5
too much digital foundry 🤣
Crazy video but calling every women character “waifus” is kinda cringe 😅
ok
@ wasn’t telling you dude so why are u bothered?
Except every woman character in this game is targeted to be a "waifu" by hoyoverse to make money, thats just their role.
@ not all lmfao, if that’s the case you mean those kids are “waifus” too? Because that’s hella disgusting man
Best gacha game
PC every patch update for the story and always mobile on any other day bcs im a lazy fuck that cant stand even sitting on a chair
