Another OWCS grand finals, another Mauga meta. I actually thought the last grand finals was pretty good with the variation in DPS and support that we saw, but it just doesn't seem right that we're seeing another Mauga meta in finals 5 months later. And I'm pretty sure they played on last patch, not the one two weeks ago where they buffed Mauga (why?) and nerfed Queen. I think that we should see all tanks getting play at times in pro play, but Mauga has had his time and these fights where nothing dies just aren't that enjoyable to watch on repeat.
Falcons devoted more resources to their DPS while most teams pumped healing into their tank. If Smurf/Hanbin get a big slam, then doesn't matter if they instantly die they'll win the war of attrition as long as the Reaper never dies.
This meta tank is not the main guy, the guy you gotta keep up is Reaper and Lip was not looking as good as Propper on the Reaper, not a big surprise since Lip is the hitscan player and Propper the flex dps, flex dps are often better at the flanker in the double flex comps, CR could have had something of they kept Knife and just bench Lip to have Heesang on the reaper and Knife on Echo/Tracer imo
