It IS a wonderful location Alex! Season ends very soon, then it's a long road trip to catch up with my family. After that I fly to Thailand and spend a month there 😎 Next year is too far away to make any work decisions, but I am open to any offers at this stage 👌 Hope you are both doing well 🙏
Bringing back so many memories of my flight, but also didn't do the hike..:) I'm not sure I went to Picaninny Gorge on my visit....Is that a really long one that they shorten with the Helicopter?
It's a 10 k walk from the car park along the creek to Picaninny Gorge. Quite a few visitors spend a few days camping to give them the opportunity to "fully" explore the area.
Beehives looked lovely from the air mate. The footage was a little funky around the creek bed...hopefully just a glitch in the old matrix. Very cool for you to be rocking open air in the copter. Good to see you're keeping busy Bernie. How much longer until you obtain your pilot's license? ;)
G'day Nate. Doors off is an exciting way to go, particularly in that spectacular environment. I couldn't use a lot of footage shooting out of the chopper as the footage was too blurry. Keeping busy, but I finish up in two weeks. Then it's another long road trip back to Queensland. I reckon I have left my run too late to worry about trying to pilot those things 😉 Hope things are well with you all 🙏
@@adventurewithbernie Yeah…it seemed like a bit of an unwelcome ride for one’s kitten. Must’ve been exhilarating besides that. Always exciting to follow along with your adventures mate. The birds seemed elusive in the canyon, but were singing brightly…almost thought it was you carrying a tune with some whistling but didn’t hear the cajon box, so I knew better. 😉🍻
Interesting Nate. I figured you would hear the birds, no one else mentioned them. A little creative editing (that's new for me), using overdubbed bird calls. Which I have been busy capturing these past few weeks. 🍺✌️
