been playing PVE only, noticed the AI got a similar problem as in tarkov, they either deletes you from a mile away or they literally shoot the ground in front of them, it is annoying but fps AI are so bloody hard to program, it will only get better, i hope
you pretty much have to treat all the Ai in Grayzone like raiders from Tarkov, thats my rule
look up video of the escape from tarkov pve mod with the realism mod
it will make enemy a.i pmc play like top players , its almost scary how realistic good they are
@@Deathscythe91 With SAIN mod to be exact, realism is for other stuff.
@@AlexLay ow shit my mistake xD
they guys from SPT did a pretty good job on the AI
The harder thing of GZW is the 360 degree of danger, where most of your only cover are trees and rocks. One has to rely on visual cover than hard cover.
O WoW you ever played Squad or something like that?? You need to stop playing counter and Rainbow six lmao
@@agr2190 Dude I play mostly Arma and Squad. Which is why I like GZW alot. Still doesnt make my comment less true. Most of LVNMARK followers come from Tarkov. So it is an important comment to make for them
@@Darkdiver28 so what you talking about no having cover jajajajaja
@@agr2190 brother you need a psychologist
@@agr2190 Bro you literally make no sense at all right now. Why are you even here still? Have you not played GZW yet?? The game is literally how you plan your choices and movement as you approach a town. You don't have constant walls and skyscraper buildings holding your hand in cover. You have to be serious about how you move and shoot correctly or you may put yourself in a shitty situation.
I play solo on PvE so all I fight is AI. You can definitely get used to the way they work similar to Tarkov. You can't avoid the random lucky one shot kills on yourself though. Imo it doesn't happen as often as it does in Tarkov though. You just need to be more tactical with your movement. Be more careful as you're going around the map. The minute one of them aggro's on your the rest of the guys nearby him will aggro too. The AI a bit further from them won't aggro unless you shoot in their direction. You can reposition and the AI will not know exactly where you are.
Also AI can only see you quickly if you're running around or walking around and walk within their view. If you're crouched or slow walking they won't see/notice you as quickly. For the AI tbh play the game like a stealth game if you're solo. Similar to how you'd play something like ghost record breakpoint. The AI in gray zone is actually pretty great, they'll rush you, flank you, I've had AI hunt me before, they start like searching the last area they saw me and start opening doors looking for me
Agreed. I like to play on pvp. But it's a bit much with the random crash lose all my gear on my way back from a pvp fight where I was already about to lose my gear
Yup I took out the entire blue lagoon yesterday like this solo I died once to the boss cause I messed up when he came out the gate I basically choked and he mowed me down but came back finished him and all the other AI off and got my mission done with one death cause I choked lol. Like you said just have to move slow and reposition a lot esp if solo
Yea they have eyes and ears, the faster you move the easier you are to spot or hear. If they lose track of you they'll scan the area they last saw you so if you drop a guy or two and run into the trees/bushes you can wide flank around and watch them group and check out the area you used to be at.
I've also had times when they are waiting outside the house and as soon as they hear me reloading or healing they push in.
Bro you’re so spot on with the ai hunting you. Scariest moment was when I was running low on mags and I had basically the whole town descending on my location
The ai has the movement of palace guards from n64 ocarina of time with the aim of a goddamn navy seal
they detect you just as good as the guards too lmao
I’ve died at Fort Narith by AI about 20-30 times and 80% of those deaths are one tap headshots by AI that I don’t see
Fort Narith is a big military base with high tier loot. You can clear it solo if you’re cracked enough but pretty sure they meant for places like that to be easier with a group or duo at least
@@fokyewtoob8835 I thought it was actually pretty easy to clear out because you can 1 tap enemies to the head from far enough away that the others dont notice you. Dunno about the close quarters combat near the north of the base tho
@@tokz2 yeah I know what you mean but that’s exactly where it starts to get crazy in the northern part by all the barracks lol had to clear that out with 2 of my boys although I’m sure some people can solo it
fort narita is a high tier location i believe, the AI there are really good, gotta constantly make sure you are not in their los else you will get rolled
@@leonzspotgthe ai are the same all over can see through bushes able to shoot you a mile away and beam the loot is good but it almost makes the ai more challenging bc they are more armored and have better weapons game has so far to go to have any chance of surviving
PvP solo trying to do quests is semi impossible. POI’s already cleared out and murdered as soon as you get of the heli 80% of the time
I'm not saying it isnt hard but yesterday as a solo I got 15 quests done, died one time to a player, and got 5 kills on kitted pms. The day before I dont think I got a single kill on a player so I feel your pain. You have to play tactically
Yea the beginner quests are easy but once you get to quest 25+ it starts to become hard. PvE is easy.
I honestly have died more to PVE than to PvP. The AI's aim is crazy and since you have bad armor for the largest time you just get one shot in the chest a lot. Players are even easier to outplay since the ai outnumbers you so hard
I play on the pve mode and to be honest the difficulty there is in playing solo is quite refreshing. Running into an area without proper scouting out is a death sentence. I find myself using the suppressed pistols more than any other weapon. They can 1 tap if you are a good shot and won't alert the whole place to your location like the suppressed rifles do..
Good to know
Watching PVP guys get destroyed by AI is so satisfying as a solo PVE player.
I've played mostly solo, only gets hard once you start going to higher level areas
Everyone is so mad there 6 year old 1060 is finally showing its age.
huuuuuuuuuh?
Solo PVP servers seems hard but I'm loving my 50 hours of solo PVE. I've only died a handful of times and have gotten to lvl 14 so far but I play a lot slower than most people want to. And on PVE you can usually go grab your gear you dropped so it not too tough although I wish there was a timer or something before it disappeared to make me actually stress about dropping it.
Im staying PVE because my performance wont allow a fun experience in PVP mode right now. I think the AI needs to get a lot better. The movement needs to feel a little more immersive right now everything feels a little bit floaty. I really liked the footstep sounds of tarkov like running on concrete and bathroom tiles and broken glass all of those effects and sounds need to come into the game aswell as destroyable glass that shatters realistically. Audio is a little weird too right now Gunshot sounds sound a little bit unrealistic especially the AK sounds.
Seems similar to my experience just pure pain at all times.
I have disconnected several times while riding in a helicopter, and while fighting AI, and of course I lose all my shit each time...
Ahh glad we're having similar experiences.
Man that sucks to hear, I had a guy last night tell me the same thing. When I get disconnected, as long as it's not a crash to desktop, I keep all my gear and am just returned to base when I join again. I really hope they get that fixed because for me the server disconnects are a minor inconvenience but for a lot of other people it can be a major setback and really kill enjoyment.
@mckinleyfisher-lynd3896 yeah... I wonder if my crashes have to do with the XMP settings?.. hmm...
@@Slickjeff are you using fsr? The guy said he had an intel cpu and fsr was making him crash but after he turned it off it was okay. That would suck too though because fsr gives my 3060 like 25 extra frames
@@mckinleyfisher-lynd3896 yeah, I am using FSR, what do I change it to instead?
yo you were crimson fraction before or not?
You can't get killed off helicopter, you also can't get killed once your boot hits bird. You're immune to damage. Also rock the level 3+ armor even if it's only front plate, this will drastically improve your surviving chance.
if the ai couldn't see you behind bushes or from literal miles away and not agro the horde when killed by suppressor, i think the game would be great
You can but ... if you are moving fast and making noise I would shoot through the bush too. Gott think smarter than that.
@@jeprodigalson792 dont know where tf you got the analysis that i'm "moving fast and making noise" but i play like a sniper and dont move much at all. Does not matter since the ai can pin point you from any direction regardless if you are moving or stationary if you kill one of them supressed or not... like i dont think you understand that it literally doesnt matter what play style you chose, the same thing would happen and thats not good at least for solo
Yea what’s the point me spending 1.5k on a suppressor to not be stealthy after one shot 😂 hopefully they fix that.
Any bullet going over 1125 fps is still going to be loud af 5.56 is going a little more than double that. About the only thing it'll help while suppressed is flash signature and general location but everyone will know you're there after first shot.
@@commandernikel yeah bro, i bet they would know my pin point exact location several meters away in a bush... no they wouldn't because even in PVP entire squads cannot seem to pinpoint my exact location, they would sometimes spray in my vicinity but to this day i have not been tracked and killed the way an ai would to that accuracy
just a random idea to promote pvp, the game should add loot drops that notifies every faction to a specific random location kinda like what rust would do in POI locations that would be marked on the map so everyone would fight for the loot package in which would contain really good gear and weapons. this would be a great addition to the game frfr
i was thinking more of the pubg packages oops but idea still good
We can squad up if you need people we're around the same level
ill try come back after a couple of months and see if the AI is a bit better and maybe by miracle camping will be less off. Remember it takes 10 minutes to loose 10k or more depending on your loadout
Yes it is but damn I enjoy it. Armor has saved my ass. For example, I took a shot to the chest. Instead of getting a wound, I got a severe bruise. It did break the armor though.
Only thing about it I don't like is you can't repair armor, so you gotta sell it for like 6 bucks when its broken lmao
@@ironpamf yes! lol that part sucks! We should be able to buy replacement plates.
If you want the keys ya gotta loot the ai. Otherwise not worth much besides ammo if needed or a gun if needed.
Some stuff you can avoid the keyed doors by jumping in windows or whatever but there’s quite a few missions behind locked doors and only the ai has the keys. So you’ll find yourself wiping entire areas multiple times just to find a single key. Gets sketchy real fast sometimes especially solo.
I hope the invulnerability when getting off the helicopter isnt the final solution to that problem
Ban Pa is piss easy compared to the t3 zones thats next level rough
You mabe know the Spot in Ban Pa on the opposite side of the water. From there you can easily snipe some Bots. BUT... when they ntice you they running around and come to you :D thats really badass when u see 3 bots coming for you. And also a little bit annoying because it also happen when you use a suppressor. Normaly other Bots 100m away should not recognize you so much. Andy yes... some bots can hit u too easily :D
Are you gonna showcase ABI?
What’s that?
@@brentmurray4201 arena breakout infinite
Solo is the best, regardless you're going to Team kill.
The Division 2 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint has the best AI in my opinion, in their current state.
They should Incorporate jurisdiction approval with leveling, like if you aren’t high enough level to be in certain areas it will prevent you from taking a heli to that area because you don’t meet the “jurisdiction requirement”. It would thin out areas and prevent tasking from being overwhelmed by a bunch of people
Disagree. Hard disagree.
@@brandonerwin7031 I guess the leveling and task progression naturally does that huh?
Get out my jungle 😈 Mithras on TOP
Soooooooooooo you are saying I can't play this because I have no friends... got it!
Playing it solo on the PVE servers ins't that bad, trying to pvp w/ my current setup isn't a great idea. I lose more kits to d/c
stop sprinting everywhere bud they hear you comin
Just waiting for a few patches or the full release before picking this up. I really wish games went back to being ready on release instead of this culture of 'release first, fix later - maybe'
Average joe here and yeaahhh....gonna give it a few more tries but I don't feel nearly as bad about getting clapped by random AI screaming from a bush 5 feet away and insta-killing me before I even know what happened.
jungle simulator
Playing PVE solo, level 29... just need to take it slower than with a team.
Im getting 90fps on a 3060 laptop lol it runs fine
I had several AI halfway glitched through walls all throughout bunker and they wiped my entire squad cause it was legit impossible to shoot them, they basically were all being shielded by the wall, but could shoot us still🤣 rip but I know they’ll make it better, still super early
Ai shoots right thru the bushes and houses
its breaking the game
lower the ai aimbot and spawn more of them
imagine breaking an alpha
No way bullets go through bushes and walls and windows? 🤯
AI is shoting on last position he saw u, if u run away they are just preditcting and cover shots
I've noticed the don't shoot directly at you whn in a house, theu shoot wherever they last saw you or where they think you could be at. If you just get inside a house while aggroed and stand next to the door, it's obvious you'll get wallbanged.
@fokyewtoob8835 The problem is when you break the line of sight with the enemy, they can still see you. That means it can be really difficult to reposition. I've been killed while prone in the deep jungle by an AI in the middle of town. That needs to be corrected.
M855 works better on armored and unarmored enemies. Don't ask me why, I have no idea.
I've hit bandana wearing MFS in the head with m855 and they shrug that shit off.
Ai are dumb as hell in this game ATM.
9:44 play time responding to your ai problem the scope makes the ai go nuts and you get killed by random ghost 1 and there gone when you go back for body cause you have no scope
Literally have been doing all missions by myself not really that hard, you just have to play different
Crazy all I do is play this game solo the first time I went to ban pa I cleared it without having to use meds you just have to know HOW to play solo is all. Unless I’m just better than Tony. 😅 also he gave bad advice. Loot all ai you kill because you can get the keys to the specific area you’re in only from dead ai
Enlighten me how best to solo Ban Pa? best direction to hit the village from etc? Best to keep moving crouched etc? And how to reduced aggro all village etc?
The first time I went with a friend. We managed to clear most of it and get some tasks done.
I've gone back solo three times.
First time, hit AI 3-4 times. They finally turned, laser beamed me.. but I managed to survive. Another AI was shooting a friendly and I got double tapped in the chest from the AI that instantly turned to me at a 90 degree angle. I was standing though. Maybe I deserved that.. even though the AI was actively shooting someone else.
Second time was to retrieve my body. Which vanished. AI was dead, well.. except for one apparently. I was running away and got instantly domed. Yes I was running. I get it. But the frequency that I get tapped in the head by AI is pretty astounding when I die. It would be nice to get headshot less, and be able to heal myself through injuries a little more.
Third time, I came back with a Mosin, since that's all I had in my storage. But the town was camped by 3-4 PMC's.. I basically laid down in the jungle and killed a few AI that spawned. Scavenged a little from the huts.
My experience with AI has been pretty frustrating. I'm already barely limping along with 45-50 fps, everything low. It makes everything harder. And not really being able to do many tasks by myself has been a pretty significant road block for me. I'd like to see a little balancing. Yes, it should be challenging. Just not so challenging that it makes me want to not play. Or play so passively that I realistically can't get anything done.
@@fastgamingchannels7024I like to enter from the first ban pa lz you get take out the 2 at the pier loot that box take out the boss on the dock houses then back off around to where the entry point quest is and take the rest out as I move in from that direction. If you rotate around a location after you kill one they all look for you where you shot the last guy so backing off and flanking is huge whilst solo
I didn’t die one single time until I got to the midnight sapphire hotel tasks. Now those ai are hard and in big numbers
@@bryanspilner do u run when backing off or best to crouch walk ?
Tiger bay and fort ai need nerf they literally aimbot you 300ms away literally insane
AI needs work, especially with soft and hard cover.
Im a solo monster. I love it. The stakes are higher there for you gotta move smarter and with a plan. And you gotta really weigh out in your mind whether something is worth engaging.. vs keeping a low profile. It makes everything more intense. When you run solo, every move really does matter. Especially in PVP situations
Wow this guys getting more then 5 fps xD
imma get a new gpu because 50 fps aint it XD
cant really hip-fire in this *GREY* game unlike EFT which makes shooting too easy this days.
Hip fire works somewhat in GZW as a sudden or last resort. Once they add lasers and flashlights, I assume target acquisition will get easier
Its hard because you have to strip away everything you learned from call of duty, warzone, Rust, or any of those teenager games.
You have to have actual patience. what I have realized is many of you players do not have any combat patience.... you want to run in there and finish it as fast as you can so you can make a video and say "LOOK I DID IT FIRST!"
That right there is the reason why soloing this game is hard.
Lack disicipline.
Speaking as an old veteran and milsim enthusiast. I play this game watching guys run n gun... get dropped and fly back with their knife... meanwhile Im chaining missions together as a solo... it may take me an hour longer... but I enjoy mission prepping, mapping out my objective and exfils... everything is timed.
in the military we have this saying.... Slow is Smooth... and Smooth is Fast. Gotta try it sometime brother.
Too much running, sprinting around.... all chaotic. Touch them.... without them knowing you touched them. Place your shots... consrve ammo.. and keep it moving. Keep the aggro down too.
In those sticky situation.... bound back.... give yourself space between the enemy... and take them out... simple.
That isn't really the issue. I play the same way to avoid getting overrun by AI. The problem is that once they see you, you can't break their line of sight. Even if you're deep into the jungle in the prone position, they can still hit you.
That is not the case. You think you know what you're talking about, but you don't. I assure you. Plenty of people, like myself, play this game slow.. creep around. I'm patient. I try to be careful. Then AI sees me crouching from 100m away, through a door. Laser beams me. I get one tapped in the head more than anything else. I get double tapped in the chest, right through my armor the instant the AI sees me. If I miss my shots and we exchange fire a few times, that's my fault. I can take that loss. That's not what we are talking about. AI can respawn and come from any direction. Sometimes you can't hear them either. They can see you through bushes if you are standing, and sometimes crouching. Often times they see you before you can even raise your gun. Even the AI in the starting town can easily shred you, regardless if you are paying attention or not. It doesn't help that most of them have guns that your armor doesn't protect against. You'd think they'd have pistols, skorpions and shotguns. Most of them already have AK's.
One of the best FPS players in this genre is having significant trouble in this video.. and you are sitting here acting as if basically everyone is a dumbass and has never played a game like this before. A lot of these players are Tarkov and Squad players. You're talking to the crown who knows how to play these games. Not all of us are CoD players.
@@PyroBlonde7777 You can still break line of sight! Before I go in... I make sure I have my exfil planned, my flank move planned and my SHTF plan... but going prone and bvounding back behind the pasture mounds or fences/cars help.
I do this solo. I pick one or two off... draw out the crowd.... shoot one or two... and bound back....
It takes me a little longer but this way, i have distance and clear shot. (silenced too)
I've even done with with just a flash hider... it takes them a while to find you if you have distance and you are not shooting too much. Make the shots count. Hit the top of the head... of the heart. Groin shots will cause them to bleed out fast... I dunno...
this is stuff I've done in real life.... so its natural and effective for me. Even while under fire. I am also aware of that respawn timer. 10 minutes is enough time to get in and out. If I start getting distracted.... thats when I mess up.
@@PyroBlonde7777 another thing to note is... the Ai is just a placeholder for now....
@@brandonerwin7031 well ofcourse they will laser beam you... turn that corner with some violence... they'll see that barrel creeping into the frame. Also hear you with all the gear on. I peek door ways and flow into them with violent intent. I get the shot off before them. I've dealt with one laser beam bot who was behind a bush...
It happens.
I'm sure it will get polished up as they are just placeholders
love to see u solo on tiger bay :D, i do it and im fucked up :D
I shoot dude in the head, then in the back of the chest, he then dips out bhind a bush and turns and deletes me with full auto, even though he couldn't see me.
Happens every day.
I've buried almost a whole clip in AI before and they flinch a few times, smile, then tap me in the head.
Anyone playing this on a 2070rtx?
People don't realize this game is suppose to be centered around the PvE aspect, with the P part being more of a dynamic occurrence. Of course, there are things to be fixed or adjusted with the PvP aspect... like LZ camping. But complaining about the AI being too cracked is a bit silly. If they all just had horrible aim and didn't use tactics, the PvE would suddenly be very boring. I would argue that the the AI is too easy, and too few. I've never seen Ban Pa so empty of other players like landmark is experiencing, but i'm not sure what day of release he is playing on, and being a streamer, he is probably quite a bit further ahead than most other players. Once more people progress... most of the mid-high tier areas become so populated with players, its hard to even get AI kills.
Ban Pa has been busy for me every time I've been there. I disagree though. AI is not too easy.
Some can't hit anything. And for some reason, some of them will laser you in the head from 200m down the road. Or shoot you through bushes, through a door, through windows that you can't shoot out of. Sometimes you'd lay a whole mag in AI from 10 feet and they will barely flinch. That might be server performance.. I get that. But some of these AI respond in ways that even make Tarkov players frustrated. And the AI in EFT have been notorious for doing crazy shit.
I'd like to see the extremes balanced out. So that you are neither experiencing something too easy, or near impossible.
People cry too much about performance….im running a 7year old pc with a 1080 and have 0 problems and run anywhere between 60-80 FPS….not bad, people need to learn how to adjust graphic settings
