As a Russian, I am very afraid of losing UA-cam. Because UA-cam has become a part of my soul. They are trying to drag us to Russian shitty analogues of UA-cam. These analogues are called rutube, vk video, platforma and many others
none of the Russians use rutube and odnoklasniki. Everyone only uses Telegram and watches UA-cam. Only old people watch Odnoklasniki and TV

You need to brush up on your VPN knowledge and also take back your insult towards elder people. I am 68 years and use a VPN all the time regardless of what kind of site I am looking at. Switching on a light is more of a hassle than using a VPN. The only thing is that I have to update the program once in a while. But that is pretty common for all programs. I use a VPN because I don't want others looking with me at what I watch, like my neighbours or my provider. It's just safer that way and it also blocks ads as a supplemental convenience. I didn't go to university, but my knowledge outshines yours.
Also I think you should talk to your parents more about the time in the Soviet Union, because it seems like you are reinventing the wheel on that subject. There is a lot to be learned from the past and things you take for granted today were not always like that for people in the Soviet Union.

They blocked YT at least a few months ago. I started seeing my viewers and subscribers from Russia leaving my gaming channel at least as far back as late May 2024.

There's this old joke . Predates this conflict . something about the old Soviet red banner of labor and the platform emblem . being a certain color for a reason.

Our counter offensive to the propagandists led them into yet another meltdown and full on blocking of the platform. People keep suggesting being a keyboard cowboy is pointless. I am seeing results here.
