Neverwinter - Warlock animation cancelling tutorial

Thanks to @Chimea22 for suggesting the creation of this video. If anyone watching this video has anything they would like me to explain, please comment below.
As stated I'm not the best at doing this! The way I've described how to physically do this will only be relevant for consoles but the actual theory should also benefit PC players who aren't currently animation canceling.

This always cracks me up. The only one encounter is not a damage over time. So hurry up and get there…lol. Reapplying a dot does not increase the magnitude though it does start the initial count down again. The extra damage you are getting is the at wills and one encounter. Everything else doesn’t really matter. No burst damage is….slower burns. Wouldn’t it be better to AP gain and tyrannical for that big hit that oozes death to all adds?

Thanks for making the video! Your animation cancelling looks very effective but how do you manage to do it without moving? I play on PC but don't use macros and find I keep moving either forward or to the side depending on which key I use.

Hmm I'm not familiar with the PC keys but basically you're using the shadow slip key to cancel it out. Provided you don't press a directional key you should remain in place

Great job but it's a shame on the dev team that any class has to animation canceling. I'm too lazy so I don't play Warlock because of this.
