I'm not the target audience here, but i highly respect innovative approaches to reducing the cost and waste within any industry. Access to low cost injection molding for prototyping as a service would be incredible to have.
@sustainabledesign.studio Quick note: I've tried leaving a few responses none of them seeming to go through. I was thinking about wargaming minis, 28mm scale.. or maybe even down to 12mm scale. Most likely using resin molds for high quality.. would this machine be able to make detailed plastics?
I‘m on a Desktop-Injection-Molding video spree over the last month. The algorythm won‘t let me be at peace, only three more videos and I‘ll have to buy one myself
Maybe, but not recommended. PETG is very brittle, and doesn't have a very high melting resistance when compared to PC. It could be possible but likely won't last anywhere near as long as PC.

I didn't know and thought about this possibility before!
Thank you so much for sharing all the incredible job you have done!
100% getting one of these machines. So cool

Thank you
I'd love to see this done on a miniature, that would immediately make this a purchase for me.
What type of miniature as I'm sure we can make it happen for you!

I have p1s and might not be able to cater PC filaments. Would this be possible with PETG filament as an alternative for PC? Kind regards

Looks impressive. Is it dangerous?
Thanks! The mold making method or the injection process?
Dude, print in some cooling channels. Get a bucket full of ice, a pump and some small rubber hose and some fittings. Like 30 mins to put together.
Thanks for the tip, would this be to prolong the life of the mould or for other reasons?
