Glad to hear this about tithing. I stopped a long time ago and never really was able to give at that level consistently, but I love to be generous in my giving, particularly to the homeless. I dream that my giving will make a difference in that person's life.
Such beauty in this Ian. Thank you for sharing. It all blows my mind. I love what you shared about your grandfather and how exquisitely Yahweh has woven such goodness through your surrendered life. Shalom and love -P&H
Wow. Puts my church's worship to shame and my church has great worship-not trying to put them down. Are these recordings still on Kajabi? Can't remember where they were listed. My friend and I worshiped in private to these recording before heading to a New Years worship night at our church. The shift from this to normal church worship was like stepping from something amazing to something just OK. Easier to engage as newbies.
I'm a million miles from where Ian is at in understanding at the moment BUT when you said about the gleaninig 27:40 I have had the thought few times when in the supermarket and I've seen something heavily reduced, instead of taking every single item I have purposefully left some for others and had that conscious thought about someone poorer than me coming to get what they need and how it is like the modern day equivalent of gleaninig the field
I will listen again but I still dont understand what you mean by trading. How do you do this? When do you do it. Im in America and in church all my life but never heard of this. Can you explain it another way. It sounds life changing.
The way I understand it is the same as shopping...you 'trade' your money for something you want. In the same way you trade your money into a word that speaks to you to say 'yes! I believe it, I want that in my life'.
"By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones. [17] "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you. [18] "You defiled your sanctuaries By the multitude of your iniquities, By the iniquity of your trading; Therefore I brought fire from your midst; It devoured you, And I turned you to ashes upon the earth In the sight of all who saw you. [19] All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you; You have become a horror, And shall be no more forever."'" Ezekiel 28:16-19 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. [17] But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? [18] My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. [19] And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. 1 John 3:16-19
how is 30 60 100 not correct mathematics when that is what Jesus told in Mark 4? Is the author of Mark just mistakenly wrote that or what? I'm just asking bc i wanna understand.
How about when Jesus said that the foxes have a house ... but the son Of man does not have where to lay his head (no house or any special accommodations even his grave was borrowed...) ? If he "owned" realistate he would. Although he was called Master because the teaching and miracles he's performed. Not making the case that Christ was poor but I would not make up either to show how financial rich was he amongst the people. Yes he was followed by people. for personal selfish reasons. Multiplying bread, healing or...., getting rich quickly etc... but when the "rubber met the road" they ALL left Him including most his disciples. Is it the same today or anything changed?
are u listening with earphones? bcz when i was i realized i had to have them both fully in as Ians voice come thru one and his Jashers came thru the other

The testimony of the letter to the grandfather brings it all home. Just absolutely beautiful

40:24 I want my diamond engagement ring back, it went missing years ago
It would also be nice if 'trading' was explained in a way someone completely unfamiliar with it could understand, plse? Thank you.

Im curious to hear more about Ian Clayton's connection to South Africa, plse? And who is Marius?
Ian was born in Swaziland and raised in South Africa. Moved to NZ when he was 13. Marius is Marios Ellinas.

In maths it’s 30 60 90. He isn’t saying scripture is wrong but that this is heaven’s maths not earth’s as the tithe is added

The Bible does not directly state the value of Jesus' garment, but its description as seamless and the soldiers' actions suggest it was valuable.
Cannot hear one word from ian, can only hear his son talking
are u listening with earphones? bcz when i was i realized i had to have them both fully in as Ians voice come thru one and his Jashers came thru the other
@@sydneyayers7804I think he meant HIS Son, ie God’s Son, talking. 😎
So sad, I cannot hear Ian at all
yes very low volume .You have to listen hard
His voice is on the left side of the speaker or ear buds. You might be able to change settings or switch earbuds and it should work!
Ian's voice too low
